I remember the days of dealing with Tennessee Medicaid with peds oncology kids. Counterpoint. The show was bad. Flashy, well filmed, well acted, but it relied on a Mystery Box plot. Most everything was a slow reveal that could have been answered in 3-4 episodes but the writers chose to end scenes with the “I could tell you, but...” with ominous/sad look into the distance...

He made more than 34 million playing so probably a bit is left...

She lost 75-25 so not really sure she diverted critical resources...

I think it’s more a lazy trope by now. 

It’s fun to point and laugh, and of course many many solid studies show this period had much higher death rates among the unvaccinated (until Omicron became dominant mainly), so the heavily Republican led anti-vaccine push deserves blame by any standard.
