Tacking on our local copycat. Apparently it was started by a former In-N-Out employee and rumor has it, they even got a D&D for having “animal style” burgers on the menu. They call them “wild style” now.

I was going to guess it was some kind of scam, but the way the dude lumbers out of the thing minutes after it was on fire, and tries to get back IN while it’s still on fire.... I think the dude was just super fucked up.

Was halfway through a deep eyeroll (who hasn’t learned to roll their clothes for packing by now?) until I got to that Ranger Roll technique. Worth the price of admission alone. Thanks!

Cue an article every day for the next month featuring one of the 20 videos Chevy posted to YouTube last night :)

Good news: 99% of people have no idea this “reveal party” is happening and will just catch the headlines tomorrow. Don’t fret about being one of them! It’s all good.

Counterpoint: moved to Colorado Springs in 2012 after 6+ years of smoking, still got altitude sickness at the starting line (9-10,000 feet altitude). It was my first weekend in town though, but most of the racers only spend a week here beforehand anyway. That was after about 12 hours though. Perfectly fine once I got

Makes me wonder if it’s some bizarre play to keep value up on older models. “Why buy a lightly used model for $90k when you can just get a brand new one for $120k?” Car Gurus price trends seems to confirm this. 2017 models still seem to have an ASP of around $100k. Mess around with it here: https://www.cargurus.com/Car

We can mostly thank the Sierra Club for the paving efforts, and it was only in small part because of the race; mostly just the tourist traffic causing runoff.
