That's an interesting read, thank you.

I don't know if it's so much "voter fraud" so much as the Republicans' vicious, sustained fight against voting rights.
I think I can analogize some common ground with a similar (though not identical) problem. When it comes to the sex assault issue, I believe that women should, as a matter of reasonableness, take measures to defend themselves and be educated in ways to act that minimize risk to themselves. But personally, I don't think…
OH MY GOD I was thinking of Life Is Strange you're totally right
Weren't there first person viewpoints in Manhunt?
I just want to say that that Jose Gonzalez song they used, Crosses, is incredible.
No Stairway? Denied!
I don't want to be one of those guys but I mean seriously it's one of the most popular and best-selling video games of all time.
That's what we call "in verdis quodidem."
I was, I thought "an old man" was kind of flippant but frankly the Internet has trained me to see only the worst of what people say.
Definitely the answer to white liberal college kids is to get over it yourself. And I know you're not saying this but it's pretty sickening seeing that attitude getting transferred from "SJW" (if we must use this term) white liberals to actual POC and other at-risk groups.
I suppose that I agree with this line of thinking but I don't think we should forget that talk radio culture has demonized liberal ideology to the point of being more abhorrent than racism and misogyny — as well as general lack of fitness for office. I can understand what Trump voters were thinking but I still think…
I agree with @PenelopeRockatansky:disqus that the end to military adventurism thing did not happen and personally I think it's some wishful thinking but I also agree with you generally, mainly because you can easily chart the dips and rises with Trump's popularity.
We tried to do that with "microaggressions" and everyone mocked it.
Or, you know, The Jews. That dogwhistle has gotten plenty of use this year
You don't understand, Trump is the man of the people who is in touch with the working man's frustrations. He says so when he's not shitting into a gold toilet.
Reminds me of the bit that John Oliver did on his show, first showing a compilation of all the law enforcement corruption apologists saying "just because we've got a few bad apples, that's no reason to (insert garbage misunderstanding about BLM here)". I don't think I need to explain why "A bad apple spoils the bunch"…
The idea that politicians sell influence and make self-interested actions should be generally well-accepted, because every politician does those things. Every single one. They didn't get where they were by picking hills to die on. That's why Bernie Sanders fell in line with the rest of the Democrats this week.
I guess journalism is a recession-proof industry in a general sense, so that's great for them. But it was all well and good to cover the funny things Bush said and leave behind boring old Al Gore, until we're left with having to read a bunch of names on the nightly news of soldiers that have died in Iraq for no reason.
That was indeed a pretty close paraphrase of what the exec said, so either he actually has some amount of human empathy and sensibility left rattling around in his brain, or he realized there was something else they could have covered that would have made CNN an extra $200 million this year.
