I’ll say this for it: it was certainly unique.

They definitely do go too far to please their fans. It doesn’t make their fans particularly happy, either. Every other interaction in their fan community is about how some such thing they did 10 years ago is “problematic”.

It’s easier to pass by a bad Marvel movie (your Thor 2s) than it is to pass by a bad Marvel TV show. Watching Iron Fist is physically painful for me, but skipping it feels like missing out on hours of content. I don’t want to miss out on plot points for Defenders, so I just watch neither.
