I am your size and have the same problem. I think at the root of it, the button down shirt does not make sense for women’s bodies in the first place. Button down shirts, suits, etc. are really just men’s clothes cut in a slightly different way for women; you really have to work with upscale designers and a good tailor…

You haven’t addressed why the fact that this dress code bans burkinis but not wet suits and nuns’ habits is not discriminatory.

This is not a dress code, and this has nothing to do with speaking French (which is not in any way relevant to this conversation).

The rules of their community are discriminatory.

It’s not that different from the early training of a lot of young kids who will grow up to be musicians.
