Yes, German in name only. And the overwhelming fan base there has no issues with that, as noted by the resounding cheers when Seb crashed.

At Mercedes’ home track?  The FIA wouldn’t dream of it.

Hopefully this eases the burden of losing the Babies-R-Us sponsorship.

Thought this was a joke - so much so, that I had to scroll back up.  Moral of the story - if you buy this instead of a Civic, you’re an idiot.

RCR, and plenty for a competitive time trial car!

358 cu. in, mostly compatible smallblock bottom end, totally different top end with revised valve arrangement - it’s what NASCAR ran before switching to the current R07 series engine.

The whole point is to get as FAR from a Wankel engine as you can get.  That’s why my 87 Turbo II is now powered by an SB2.2 ex-NASCAR engine.

Nice car, but not worth it by the time your LS swap is done.

I’d feel bad if it were Pat driving... but not Liam.

I was OK with it until I saw the seat grommets.  They just don’t work here.

And just wait until it massively under-performs!

This doesn’t even leave you with enough money to buy some comfortable walking shoes. And Lord knows you’re going to need them, as you’ll be pacing relentlessly about the floor of the BMW service center in perpetuity.

NASCAR has been running EFI with the R07 engines for 6 years now.  They also run compacted graphite blocks, which aren’t exactly your run of the mill iron block.  Block weight isn’t too far off from what it would take an aluminum block to survive the stresses of a vee configuration with piston speeds that exceed that

Hey, I LIKE the looks of my Si Sedan! (Though I could do without the fake carbon accents inside.)

Hey, the Sky broadcast team said it best.  Paraphrased for brevity: “This race didn’t suck nearly as bad as we thought it would!”

And to piggyback, fuel/flow restrictors. If I have X amount of gas to use for a race, shouldn’t it be my prerogative when/how its used?

Just don’t invite that guy who reviewed Incredibles 2.

Goodness, why are you driving children around? Is your au pair not earning her keep?

It’s your driver’s job to crawl around on the floor and jam his hands between seat cushions to fish it out, not yours.

If that’s the case, then it’s a double CP.
