Based on the volume and speed it’s coming out that it likely a city water main, the resort neither installed or had the duty to maintain it so they bear no liability.

Depending on the state, sometimes the fine print doesn’t even protect them from negligence. Often the real purpose of waivers is merely to convince the injured person they don’t have a case and don’t bother pursing it.

IANAL, but as far as I know, no amount of fine print can absolve an entity of responsibility resulting from gross negligence; and dousing unsuspecting skiers with water in the freezing cold is pretty darn gross.

This goes beyond the conduct that you can waive. Typically it has to be related to the activity in question. Getting blasted with water while a ski lift isn’t really the type of risk you expect from skiing.

I was Garfield was in the movie.  “I hate Mondays.”

Is Jon or Odie in the movie too? How about Nermal?

Toy with me, Andrew Garfield! I bid ye TOY WITH ME!!!

happy garfield got a statue for tick tick boom. absolute tour de force.

This is a joke, right?

Calm down, you’re gonna pull something.

That read by Pinchot is 15/10!

I see. So she was in her capacity as actor saying that to the other character. So the entire thing was a misunderstanding.

I am sort of surprised by this take on Jezebel. The guy has a known history of bring prickly in general, and downright hostile to women in particular. For some reason (I assume because of a dislike of Pompeo) this became about race here, but this should have been about a known dick flying off the handle on Pompeo, and

He is well known for being a jerk and this site made it all about race.

That’s exactly how I read it. He has a reputation for being a dick to women on set and elsewhere. I think the author of this piece can’t see past her dislike of Ellen Pompeo to realize Denzel’s statement isn’t the burn she thinks she is.

Does this mean that Denzel is such an asshole that he can’t possibly recall one incident of him being an asshole?

I feel like when I see women wearing saris, I see lots of lovely older women of all shapes and sizes rocking the bare midriff. Why not? And I liked her hair flowers! They were very true to the character and her style.

In an ever-changing world, Charlotte remains the same old Charlotte, railing against her friends’ decisions when they venture out from the staid privileged pasture she resides in. (Let us never forget her freakout upon catching Carrie and Big leaving a midtown hotel while he was married and she was with Aidan.)“

Maybe the solution is to have bigger vehicles that can carry more people in one go through the tunnel. If it’s really high volume, maybe link the larger vehicles together in a chain so that they all travel at once all at the same speed.

And it sounds like YOUR issue is reading comprehension. I’m actually quite thrilled with queer, non-binary representation. My issue is the writers (and the actor who plays Che) made this character irritating AF, not to mention quite an obnoxious stereotype. If you really cared about queer, non-binary representation,
