Read reviews of people either driving the same car, or driving in a similar manner as you’d use them for. Want to hypermile? Go on prius or mileage junkie forums. Want to autocross or track day bro? SCCA boards are where to go. And sometimes just perusing the reviews of tires on tire rack with your own car can help…
Or it means the track has more turns at high speed in one direction than the other...
I think ours came from Mexico. But the issue was never the mechanicals, it's always the electrics which fail and let the car down.
Guy loses both legs and a little over a year later bosses his way back up to a podium in competitive racing.
Defenders of Tesla act like it won’t be a thing and yet.....It is. It is at a much smaller scale for estbalished brands. It is much worse for tesla. Think of the recalls for specific batches of cars made from month X to month Y of a given model year. For supposedly having the same part, made on the same assembly line,…
More like it isn’t illegal to deface illegal signs. Example - If you put up a nazi flag on your side of the house that faces mine, you aren’t expressing “free speech” you’re expressing “hate speech” and I don’t think I’d get in trouble for removing the flag. Worst case scenario, I’d get trespassing but IIRC people…
Still dismissing my comments.....still not changing the fact that you’re wrong. Protests are a part of free speech. Acting out against acts of corruption by a government, yes, the GOVERNMENT, is not them stifiling the free speech of civilians. This is them giving power back to the people.
I would argue otherwise. Private citizens can certainly perform actions that infringe on the rights of others to speak. Now, censorship? Censorship by definition is a government intervening and preventing communication between people. And there are many cases where this is in violation of free speech. But censorship,…
Once again, the government telling you to vote for the people currently in power, using your tax dollars, is not “free speech”. However, citizens who deface those very messages are utilizing rights for protest and free speech. It’s real simple stuff if you’re not a fascist asshole.
Well since my comment either got erased by kinja or dismissed by the fascist asshole, I’ll say it again here.
The government used its tax dollars to put up signs saying to reelect the people in the government. Near as I can tell, the taxpayers paid for this to be out up, but they sure as hell weren’t consulted about it. So yeah, spray painting a sign you paid for, but had no say in, is free speech.
“What car has done the most burnouts and why is it Mike Finnegan’s Blasphemi?” FTFY. It’s a 55 Chevy with a massive hemi. It does burnouts every time it does a drag strip pass. It does burnouts leaving the parking lot. It does a burnouts when mine drives it home to visit the folks. It does a burnouts after every…
I’m going to be blasphemous and use James May’s word to describe the ford scorpio - gopping. Look at that large mouth on the front and the squinty little headlights and the lambo knockoff-ish rear louver vent things and, to top it off, it looks like an evora. A car best known for somehow making a toyota unreliable.…
Already said it before, but the STs sold quite well, for the segment. IIRC, the FoST sold almost as much as the toyobaru twins and the FiST had a healthy buyer base. Only problem was that the base cars didn’t sell enough. The STs alone don’t drive the profits for the platform.
The STs sold in pretty healthy numbers, all things considered. It’s the base cars that didn’t sell “Enough”. After all, you can’t have the STs without the base model. And I guess I contributed to that too seeing as I bought two of them brand new. First a Fiesta and then a Focus.
Wait, you say the Fiesta ST isn’t reliable but post a GTI? The car best known for instantly shitting all its electrics at the exact point the warranty ends? I mean, the abarth will also burst into flames if you look at it wrong but I have never seen reliable GTIs after 60k miles.
An FZ-07 (or any of the modern naked 650cc twins) will walk all over the street rod. It has decent curb appeal but the exhaust is routed poorly, the tank shape and air intake is for cruiser pegs, not the mid mounted pegs that it comes with, and it’s a couple grand more than the competition. If you like yours, then I…
