Okay is this a joke/troll too?

Most top flight racers came from boatloads of cash. Many still had lots of family members in the sport - look at the current Formula 1 field. That’s the reality of it. She is no different from the rest of them and the fact that she’s capable of doing all of this while also studying to be an engineer at goddam

....WTF?

ANd yet I find myself using each and every one of those features regularly. Some are used daily, others weekly, others monthly. THe wireless charging is the most gimmicky since that is only at my desk but the rest are a near daily feature as my phone is exposed to some degree of moisture regularly. It is not submerged

CP. Any number of excellent 90s bikes available to ride, as well as some 2000s small displacement bikes to learn on, are available at that price. And it isn’t yet a museum piece, nor was it a popular item like the old honda CT70s and the whole “monkey bike” line so the nostalgia isn’t there.

Look, for as good as that car could have been to people who wanted a mid engined sports car, it wouldn’t have sold even a fraction as well as the explorer would have. And if it was even a “success” it would’ve done little to change Ford’s direction. Harsh reality - without the explorer, Ford might’ve not survived the

You can, but you shouldn’t. If you look at it the wrong way, then this happens:

I think we’ve long since established that 2500$ is well within “Fuck it” territory when talking about a running and driving and generally rust free car. This is a prime target for restoration and that 2500 price is a very low barrier to entry. NP all day, every day. Even if it isn’t your taste, you have to admit it’s

Your car, your life, your rules. If you’re okay with it, then it’s fine. If you’re not okay with it, then that is also fine.

The real surprise here is that an Evo not only made it to 64,000 miles without needing any engine work, but that it did so while remaining STOCK in the engine department.

Maybe he can show us how to reassemble a defibrillator. That crew might need a few while shooting TGT...

Not my repair, but I once witnessed a guy hanging on the side of a car and somehow operating the throttle cable by hand to keep the car moving. The hood was not taken off, it was just propped open like usual. THere was another driver doing the steering and he was also hanging outside of the car so that he could “see”.

I still love the NAIAS but there’s lots of nostalgia and convenience to it for me. I do like the changes they’ve been making in recent years to add more fun to the event but I don’t know how it needs to evolve to stay relevant.

Thank you for getting it!

Nah, just a lot of snark and sarcasm this morning.

You’re not wrong, but I tried to make it clear I was just having fun in my comment and the whole thing isn’t meant to be taken too seriously.

Yes. Like a boss.

Mmhmm. Or worse - the people who then insist on cc-ing more departments or some higher-ups for some unknown reason. So what started as a direct message for some relevant people becomes a multi-department pissing match

More than likely, yes. But it’s more fun to jump on the theoretical exception.
