I don't see Letterman going the "Look at me, look at me!" route that Leno has. Or hosting a game show like Ferguson.

The audition reel "Would you like to buy a monkey?" was worth the price of admission alone.

I valued the emotions Norm showed us more than another 5 minutes in the guest chair.
It was wonderful to see.

During an interview, Dave mentioned that he was asked (more than once) to host SNL. It just wasn't something that appealed to him.
Perhaps the vintage SNL was their attempt to acknowledge Letterman (and Paul).

God, no!

Thompson has taken Wiig's place in the EVERYTHING role.

Difference is, Julia's the one who always came on to Dave.

Letterman was not married at the time.

"… probably more of the latter which is not a bad thing."

Because he's willing to do and wear crazy shit in his many appearances dating back to 1985.

I'd be curious to know why she'd have Wynn's number in her phone. Doesn't seem likely.

But no one, including effing Vasquez, knew about the limo firing squad. I hate Vasquez.

A three-way with Raylan, Boyd and Sam Fucking Elliot is the stuff of fan fiction. Someone write this, please.

"To the death" is where it gets a little problematic for some people/me.

Pop pop!

And if the downballot races were mentioned, you'd probably whine about it. "Who cares? Don't waste my time!"

It's not going backwards. It won't be the same. But it will be worth watching.

I agree. I don't understand the "waste of time" complaint. Just because Alicia won't become State's Attorney doesn't mean the journey shouldn't have been explored. It's kind of like saying, Will's death made that relationship not worth exploring. Come on, people, it's a dramatization of "real" life. You don't always

Gotcha. Nice one.

I find Boyd's flamboyant manner to be entertaining, but I don't give a shit if he dies. I'm rooting for Raylan to let go of some of his anger so he might find some happiness (or at least some contentment) in his life. The fact that he's able to release his father's hold on him is a positive sign.
