It’s great that they are moving and will (hopefully) come back, but maaaan, there are going to be SO many businesses that are closed now that are just not going to re-open...

All of that info is literally in the article, if you had bothered to read it.

“Expensive new digs”? Your vintage hipster slang needs work; "digs” is where you stay, you mean “threads.”

This. A second awful thing? The normalization of Trump as a part of politics. There are millions of people, many young and stupid, some older and formerly disenfranchised, who look at Trump as part of the normal scheme of American politics. This is exactly the same as if ice cream stores started selling disease

Upper Class: Here’s some money! Go make art!

I think what we’ll get are a shit-ton of legal filings claiming “irregularities” and “voter fraud” in any battleground state he lost.

I don’t think he would. However I would go so far as to say he genuinely doesn’t really want to be president that much, but he’s too far in and doesn’t want to leave the office in disgrace (i.e. impeachment) and doesn’t want to be seen as a “loser” or “quitter”; so he can’t just NOT seek reelection. Doesn’t matter

I don’t think he would do that either, since that would admit defeat. He would loudly and publicly fight any charges against him as more efforts of the deep state.

decades later the avant garde still pretends to oppose the upper class while the upper class remains the only group that cares enough to fund the avant garde

It depresses me that we’ve gotten so used to having a buffoonish clown-show as a “President” that we don’t even acknowledge anymore the insanity of him retweeting ANYTHING at all, much less promoting random trolls, much less deepfakes.

I think the odds are higher that Trump will say it was a coup if he loses the election based on his not knowing what the word means.

The only way a coup would work is if he had a substantial amount of the military behind him, and I don’t think he does.

Totally agreed. Plus seems like Molly’s doing more to try to repair the friendship, while Issa seems ready to let it fall off, which is super sad. I definitely felt for Molly in this episode (and really this whole season so far).

I’ve never heard it used to describe men, but even assuming it is sometimes, the word “ho” originated with women and is overwhelmingly used to describe women, and is used here to describe women.

I feel like I watched a different show here. Issa and Molly were both in the wrong here - one thing to say it’s too soon to bring Andrew to Thanksgiving, another to bring up “Molly shit” and Issa’s conversation with her brother regarding Lawrence proves some proof that Molly wasn’t wrong to see the Condola connection

I’m interested to see how it goes, but I don’t want them to get back together, at least not long-term.

“thot” is an anti-woman term, just wanted to get that out there.

A little disappointed we were getting back to the “thriller” plot. I would have been perfectly happy having this show be Before Sunrise. The two leads are fantastic, especially Wever, and I would be thrilled just having them talk and participate in their rekindled relationship.

I actually hope Issa and Lawrence DON’T get back together. Friends, yes. Lovers, NO! They’re lazy with each other and too comfortable. That’s why he wasn’t working or being the man of the house, and she was busting her ass, making excuses to pay for all the dates (hence she pointed that out to her brother).

My hardest laugh of the episode was when they stopped running after they realized it was Stanley on the stretcher.
