This movie came out when I was 11 and my sister was 15 and we were OBSESSED with it. I have a tonnnn of nostalgic fondness for this movie.

Netflix is putting them up in the US every Friday, not sure if that’s happening in Canada...

Maybe they changed the movie radically in the time since, but I saw an early screener of Good Joe Bell eight months ago and it was not even C level. It was D or F level.

I assumed that it was actually to show maybe the similarities/possible solidarity between the groups — as even white Jewish folks are regularly discriminated against. At least that’s how I took it.

I don’t know if you’ve realized that with much of the entertainment industry in shutdown for months, the pool of content is somewhat smaller. Also, both here and the Ringer are huge on anniversary articles anyway.
