I am definitely not giving an opinion on this specific case, but a woman is more likely to be murdered by an intimate partner than anyone else. A husband is always a suspect if the death is suspicious. I guess because of the bruising on her body her death is seen as suspicious.

I don’t think I’ll ever understand why people get so worked up about “Chvrches” when Diarrhea Planet and Car Seat Headrest exist. 

This song is really odd to me. The verses sound good, but then the chorus kicks in and it sounds like generic pop garbage.

The live version of The National’s “I Need My Girl” with Mayberry alongside is so damn good. I really hope Berninger shows up on the album!

“The Bones of What You Believe” may be the album I’ve played the most in my car this decade. Every song on it was infectious, and “Every Open Eye” was pretty fucking good too. I’m not 100% sold on this new song and its repetitive chorus, but whenever this album comes out is probably still bad news for any other artist…

I hope that in all our eagerness to demonstrate how righteous we are, we now stop to consider the very real and tragic consequences of our vitriol.

Hah! We’re on opposite sides once again! I *hated* last episode with a passion (form may of the same reason you dislike this episode) and much preferred this one. This to me was very much mid-first-season Rebecca, the live-action looney tunes cartoon.

That logic does not follow. Just because you believe in Heaven, it does not follow that Heaven be your prime motive for being good, or for being a motive at all.
