Hey I love Ob-la-di Ob-la-da
Hey I love Ob-la-di Ob-la-da
Now that I’ve seen the movie this is even more absurd. THE ENTIRE POINT OF HER CHARACTER IS THAT SHE DOESNT TRUST HER FATHER AND BECOMES ESTRANGED FROM HIM
Antonoff* don’t worry I’ll proofread for you.
He can’t come out until he resembles the man I married.
It came with the frame.
I know Ex Machina made more money but I still consider Inside Llewyn Davis his real breakout.
She was never actually a teenager on VM.
Can we ever stop with this nonsense? We don’t need to force male filmmakers into fake gender parity in their films, we need to empower female filmmakers.
I’ll take this opportunity to say I’ve seen 20 Scorsese movies and 8 MCU movies. IMO that’s too many MCU movies but they’re hard to get away from. :)
Catastrophe at 78 is criminally low but C’est la vie.
At my job this summer I made a mention about being from Texas and one of our volunteers said something like “so is that you that hung up the flag in the office then?” And I was like.....what? When I went into the office, someone had hung up a Chilean flag.
If I can do concerts/music festivals, my friend and I went to the second weekend of Desert Trip and that might be one of my favorite memories in general. Though I guess it’s technically the pop culture of the 60s-70s ;) I’d seen Paul and Neil before but it was my first time seeing the other four acts and it was such…
Yeah, CMBYN might be it for me. I saw the premiere at Sundance at the beginning of the year, and then saw it twice when it went into normal theatres. Crushed me every time.
From what I gleaned online the guy in charge of his estate is his cousin who was 11 when Dean died. So, yeah.
I wouldn’t call “the family” approving it “a start.” As someone who wasn’t married and didn’t have kids, his closest living relative and the one in charge of his estate as far as I know is a cousin of Dean’s who was only 11 when he died.
I honestly have never disdained Shia but I just couldn’t get into this movie. I was surprised it has gotten quite so much praise. Maybe it’s because I saw a screener so it didn’t have as much undivided attention as if I’d seen it in a theatre, but it was.....a lot of yelling. Idk maybe I should see it again.
Pooping scenes always get more attention but the airplane scene is one of my favorite comedy scenes of all time and really makes the movie for me.
“Help me I’m poor” is in my daily vocabulary
I’ve unfortunately felt the same. I hadn’t even really noticed it until these past two episodes I’ve noticed multiple times where I just zoned out and stopped paying attention to the episode and had to rewind to catch what I had missed. That never used to happen. I just wish we had the core four more, I don’t care…
