Is it really ever stated that he LOOKS like Harry Potter? From what I remember he got that nickname just because of his glasses and the fact that he dressed preppy (in khakis etc) at his Vegas school where everyone else was in board shorts and flip flops.

By far my favorite line of the ep

I really hate that this show has made me sexually attracted to Marc Maron.

Now that I’ve seen this I definitely think I liked it more than you did. It has a lot of issues but am sad that it now ranks on the same level as Angel Has Fallen (I know different reviewers different grading criteria but still).

Damn Adam Driver is so good.

My favorite scene in this was by far Sherrod’s Brown’s speech about unions and watching everyone freak out. That is all.

As someone who works as a ranger in one of the busiest national parks in the country this is A TERRIBLE IDEA and I can only imagine some idiot who spent 2k on it will be trying to camp on the river next summer.

Definitely agree with this review! It says a lot about society’s still-basic-and-boring views on health and weight that this won the audience award at Sundance. I am someone who also has a BMI that is labeled “obese” but would not be called obese by most people in the real world, so am pretty much in the same category

I have never and will never understand people who feel the need to come on a memoriam article and shit all over the person’s most famous work. No one cares if you didn’t like it. It was massively influential.

I’m a fan of Almost Famous Deschanel myself.

She wasn’t in the murder attempt scene. Is there another scene where she goes there that I forgot?

I can just come over

I wanted to be a Claudia or Dawn but am pretty much a Mallory. I was shy and quiet but also knew that I would NEVER be able to get a cute boyfriend, so I couldn’t even be Mary Anne. I was nerdy ass Mallory with Dawn tendencies but not the pretty long hair.

Man I LOVED California Diaries. I was born in California but my family moved to Texas when I was 5 and I always felt this draw to California and wanted to be cool bicoastal Dawn. Probably no surprise that I ended up a vegetarian hippie myself who moved back to California for college. I also remember that was my first

I didn’t even turn 15 until after 9th grade. I agree that I thought the book was just mediocre, so if the movie is mediocre honestly that seems about right to me.

Because she’s not that good of an actress and hasn’t earned first banana because apart from a sure thing like Beauty and the Beast, her starring roles have largely flopped (see The Circle, Colonia)

Calling an Irish woman English is very ballsy of you.

I had never heard of Silver Jews until this really cool dude I worked with in the woods put them in the car while we drove out to a camping trip about 7 years ago. I have such a strong memory of listening to them as we ambled down a dirt road with the headlights illuminating the pine trees on the road. It was good

I love both Mamma Mia movies though I know that’s not a popular opinion here

Yeah that’s kind of how I feel.
