I love Jonathan Banks, but him getting the supporting nod instead of Michael McKean every year has been really confusing for me. I’m glad Michael finally got in there (and Jonathan and Bob and Giancarlo), now we just need Rhea to get her due!!

I work for Sundance and got to watch the Q&A after this premiere from the sidelines, with Crosby and Cameron Crowe. Dude is very refreshing in his honesty and zen-like acceptance of all the shit he’s done in his life.

This episode last night had 6.4 million viewers. And that’s not counting the people who watch on Hulu the next day.

Yeah but with lotr, they seemingly purposefully held off on giving them major awards until rotk (apart from visual effects etc). But GOT has already won best drama what three times? Plus tons of other major Emmys. They don’t need the cumulative sendoff awards when they’ve been winning them the whole time.

Absolute insanity

Be in Game of Thrones apparently. If she couldn’t get a nom for the scene of jimmy reading chuck’s letter I don’t know what it takes.

Seriously when there are people like rhea seehorn out here getting shafted

I really can’t!

Especially considering Ringo is the oldest Beatle, and both Ringo and Paul are older than Mick and Keith. Ringo looks great.

I went to the Dallas show as well! Having lived in Southern California before, it’s really annoying that LA and NY tend to get all the ~special things. Especially because I feel like people in LA are very jaded and blasé about cool things happening there. Ah well (am I bitter that I’ve seen Paul twice in Southern

Never mind entertaining people for an hour, Paul’s sets are usually three hours, even at age 77.

Then it would be like Wild, also with Reese and Laura. Full circle

Every time they show bixby bridge as if people are just casually driving over it going back and forth to their house it drives me crazy. This is like 25 miles south of there! And the shoulder is always full of tourists taking photos! The only time this shot makes sense is when Ed and Madeline are driving to the

That’s why it especially blew my mind when Celeste confronted her about not cashing the checks. Girl you’re working at an aquarium in one of the most expensive cities in the US with a house and a child and your pride is keeping you from cashing checks? Where’s your money coming from?

The season is almost entirely set during the 4th of July week in 1985, except for the opening scene with the soviets opening the gate. So unless they were drinking new coke and listening to material girl in that Russia scene, that isn’t an anachronism.

Good choice

I think that one is only coming to their streaming platform for the most part. But yepppp it’s happening

Fresh Step actually does (or used to do) a Catdance Film Festival

Yep! And to me, Dowd’s scale makes sense, in that most things are Cs. Because most high budget blockbusters are merely average, like a C grade. Doesn’t mean people can’t be entertained by them or have fun going to them. But I also guess here in the US people are used to higher grades just for things that are ok. I

Yeah but Homeward Bound wasn’t blasting upbeat showtunes while Chance and Sassy just wandered around. The tone of their movements usually fit with the dialogue that was overlapped. Not that those aren’t silly movies. But I’d much rather watch Homeward Bound than this. Also those were real animals. I can’t get past the
