If you care about your relationship with your neighbors you should also not cut your lawn at 8 in the morning on the wknd.

There is a difference between meadow and normal height. My neighbor mows 2-3 times a week while I get mine about once every 7-10 days. Mine looks better (albeit shaggier) than his because he cuts it too low. recommend 3" height for water retention, weed prevention, and thatch health. 3" is a lot longer than most

I second this; way too many pests in my home. To the author. Chigger, please

I live in chigger-country and appreciate being able to go outside my house without being eat up with bug bites. Also: snakes love high grass, so I’d also like to walk in my lawn without fear of stepping on one of those as well. Lastly, I like to actually go outside and do stuff and not have ass-high grass all around

My M8 sounds like that after a few beers and I goad him into making race cars noises for the amusement of my fellow beer swilling patrons.

wait until he learns that the Germans tore down a Russian-built wall

“Continuing to call for Border Patrol assistance, the Marines proceeded to track Hernández for twenty minutes, until Bañuelos, the Marine fire-team leader, shot and killed Hernandez.”

Nice! I live in Wilmington, and am a couple miles from Wrightsville.

Here’s what KILLS me. So back when I was in high school ( early 90's) my Dad had a 88' 4Runner. It was in immaculate condition, had manual locking hubs- the whole nine yards. Dad offered to sell it to me for $1,500 as a way to build up credit. I said no because I didn’t know how to drive a manual transmission. He

Every so often Jalopnik gives us diamonds. In the sea of Demon, Telsa, Politics and other bubble gum topics, we get a truly humanizing and intriguing story. This is a diamond, and I hope we see more of them.

I’d rather pay this price for an 89 than a 2004 to be honest.

To that point, I sold my non-clean 1988 735iL last year for $500. Engine was still rock solid even with 200k on it but the rest of the car was a total shit show.

Buy this and drive it for the next 100k miles for less than the cost of a new Nissan Versa. Bullet proof motor, durable transmission with fluid changes, timeless styling and nice driving dynamics. What’s not like? Missing pixels, maybe a big $$ A/C repair and an appetite for front end components. Who cares, the $ /
