I haven’t seen it, but I can already assume based on the PG-13 rating that some of the “most violent, sadistic characters in the DC universe” probably didn’t live up to their dark expectation.

They pulled Lawson’s quote one sentence too early. Here’s the kill shot:

Two movie critics were sitting on a bench by the side of a lake when they saw a man walk up to the edge of the lake and pause. Silently, the man stepped out onto the surface of the water and walked all the way across the lake, never even getting his feet wet. After the man walked away, one critic turned to the other

Seems like you’ve had a lot of personal experience in that department, based off of the few transparently wrong opinions of yours I just read in a short amount of time...

I get paid in Bison dollars.

I thought your screen name was just being ironic, but I see you really are just a little troll. You cast insults and call people childish names just to provoke an angry response, instead of holding a thoughtful dialog.

I don’t think the issue is that it is sexist. Its that the movie sucks (or so they say)

waller, harley and deadshot are not liked by a lot of people, especially harley as she isn’t that well written and is more about selling then quality these days.

And Michael Cera as Arthur.

In the DC Murderverse, apparently. Obviously in the comics those are all fantastic characters that are being wasted in the hands of David Ayer and Zack Snyder.

I loved it and if she likes McCarthy she probably will enjoy it. It’s all opinion.

I think the title of critic comes with the sense that everything has to fit inside a pretty little box. It’s not supposed to cure cancer or win an Oscar, it’s just supposed to entertain.

I was fortunate enough to see the movie last night, and though it wasn’t perfect, I had fun. That’s kind of the point of going to

Hockey jerseys are his signature. I hope that he goes to the Oscar’s in a hockey jersey with a tuxedo print on it.

Hey look a reflexive defense of a movie you haven’t seen. Target audience found!

Username checks.

But she was not created to be abused for laughs. I’m not on the hatewagon on this one but I do think you can’t just have her being abused and play it up for laughs and it still be faithful to the character. A that is disrespect to the legacy and the message behind it. B. that’s disrespect to all people getting abused

No, I think they expected it to be shit and sure enough, turned out it was.

Batman is not only the dullest character in comics, but quite possibly in all fiction.

I personally enjoyed it a LOT. I think every single actor was really good in it, especially Chris Hemsworth. McCarthy was good, but I personally think Kate McKinnon’s my favorite Ghostbuster.

The movie version. Yes.
