I watched Seinfeld when I was quite young; I think I partially learned my English from that show, and I learned general mannerisms from - get this - Kramer. Oddly enough, I don’t think I saw this episode. Perhaps that was for the best at such a young age.

Weirdly enough, this wasn’t a favorite of mine. This season has continued to waver in my enjoyment of each episodes. Each are good in their own way, but are they... ENJOYABLE? I don’t know how to even put this into words.

I did see those final episodes. Definitely interesting to see how they have recontextualized (and will continue to recontextualize) key parts of this season.

It’s an enjoyable episode, but even so, a lot of this season feels... I don’t know how to put it... scattershot. It’s not bad, no, not at all, but there’s something off about it. I think it’s because the actual narrative at this point is a lot more freeform- Season 1 focused on the memoir, Season 2 on the Secretariat

The final scene was.... unexpected.

I knew it! I read what you said; thought I was pulling at straws and reading too much into that reference... sorry Shalmanese!

I understand it is not at all related to Faulkner. But this idea of exploring memory, time, and past choices would not seem out of place in Absalom, Absalom- that’s what I meant. I don’t mean that Bojack Horseman is consistently hitting the literary highs and nuanced discussion that Faulkner’s work has/engenders. What

So this is my first comment on Kinja, the great new system of our time.

I think for this episode it's meant a lot to show Rick honestly was tearing other people apart without even doing much. They showed just how far his demons ran.

You do you. But I loved this episode because of the SAW stuff, and how even Drunk Rick forgot why he was doing it, and told them to make it about themselves.

'Wait, you killed Worldeater?'

'I'll uh change into my alter ego!'

I loved how the super girl person even called out Rick for his alcoholism by asking Morty why she knew his drunkenness so well.

I think this is my favorite episode so far. What I liked was how Rick proved that he was right, but that how nearly every character was on the same page that yes, Rick is terrible.

Can I be on your team Mr. Zissou?

I hate jump scares, so I had to watch with my ears covered. The actual fear decreases exponentially once the initial sound has passed.

Ohhhh thanks man. That's what that was. There was a guy in our screening who called it out but he didn't say anymore.

You don't need knowledge of the other movies to get this one. At best, read the first few sentences for Annabelle 1, and you'll be set. There's apparently a reference to the conjuring 2, but it's so small and I never watched the movie. But seriously it's fine.

Not exactly, it's sorta there and they imply how it was built.

That's exactly what it is, but it does tie into the first Annabelle. And apparently there's a reference to the Conjuring 2, but I never saw the movie so I can't tell you what it meant.
