I don't have spoiler tag knowledge, but SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS: there's a dollmaker who I think makes the doll, and he suffers a personal tragedy, and certain actions lead to the evil doll. <\spoiler>

To be fair this movie still doesn't exactly explain the origins of the doll. It does explain a small part of the original Annabelle.

I watched an advance screening. So I hate horror movies because of their jump scares, which I just can't stand.

It just depends on what you find fun. As a comedy, it became less fun, as a weird monstrous hybrid it became more fun!

Surrealism running its course. I enjoyed Louie and I'm glad we got it.

I can play the Hungarian folk song she plays on her violin. It's wonderful. And endlessly entertaining.
