So the university police expect to have full authority, even off campus, with no legal accountability or oversight. There is no way that could be or should be legal. Abuse is guaranteed.
Gee, I wonder what political party all these fuckwits are affiliated with. Democrats? Really? I would NEVER have guessed considering the liberals running this site and the fact it wasn’t mentioned (not ONE TIME) in TFA.
The D.A. had to endure 5 seasons of watching that shit show, known as, my Philadelphia Eagles. I’d say time served and 1 year probation or when Doug Pedersen gets fired, whatever comes first.
Would love to see all of Philly’s elected officials ushered right out. So much corruption.
As someone that lived in rural East Tennessee for a year, I have come away from this observation: the only reason Philly and Chicago has corruption scandals is because it's against the law to do what they do while in the South it's considered common practice.
The fight between off-duty cops and LeSean McCoy happened at 3 a.m. and was apparently triggered by them trying to steal his table’s bottle service.
Serious question: When you have something like a sideline pass that can’t be purchased but clearly has value, how does one go about assessing the value of a gift like that?
I’ve never been on the sidelines of an NFL game. I’ve never had a sideline pass. It’s probably a pretty fun experience. But, in all honesty, how much of the game do you really get to see? Aren’t you standing behind the players, coaches, sideline officials, etc.? I’d rather have access to a luxury box. Primo food and…
But, wait, there’s more
Brings back memories of the good old days. A buddy was in the roofers and was told that, if he was ever arrested, wear his roofers t-shirt to court.
Shady wasn’t even an Eagle when he got collared, and was pretty much hated by the city at that point in time. So, no.
i thought mccoy was already a buffalo bill at the time, making the opposite of corruption true. despite all his gifts from the eagles, he used legal justification to free an opposing teams player of wrong doing. what a hero!
It is quite curious why Seth finds the need for another person on the city payroll when he refuses to prosecute anyone.
Not that I have anything remotely resembling clout or influence — but I will nonetheless make a respectful request of our new overlords that they keep your blog up.
I’m sure someone at the AG’s office is still working.
Can’t they compare the defendants sentences who were defended by those gift giving attorneys to those who weren’t and get an idea of whether lesser sentences were given?
You could also mention that Seth has engaged how own criminal defense attorney and put him on retainer, and hired the guy's wife as his "Chief Counsel." He's very worried about the Rob McCord wiretaps...
“If there were gold medals in political corruption, Philly would put Michael Phelps to shame.”
Bingo? As though corruption is inherent or restricted to Democrat officials?
