No, the crystal shifter is exclusive to the T8

I love the shifter in the T8...Aston does crystal key fobs, Volvo sides friggin crystal shifters.

It doesn't hurt having it for stability purposes at higher speeds. But it makes sense that you wouldn't want to drive too fast in the snow. Come to think about it, my car is RWD and I don't shift passed second gear in the snow either. Maybe third to keep my rpm's low.

The AWD only works in first and second gear. Once you shift into third it becomes RWD. The audi is always AWD.
