The manuals were available on the sport trims of the W203 and W204. For the W203, I you could get the C230, C320, and later C350 with a manual box. The W204 was the last to offer a manual and it was only on the entry level C300. That’s in the US and they only sold a handful. 

My dad had an 05 C230K sedan in stick. Was it the most precise thing? Nope. Were the shifts as crisp as the morning dew? Nope. The cool factor was having a new-ish (at the time) stick shift Benz in the US. 

In most places the finance guy is the one that signs you out. Be prepared.

I will admit that depending on the type of car, I’ll swing for the wheel and tire. I live in NY and the roads can be as smooth as a cheese grater. The 747 has an incredibly high wing sweep compared to other subsonic airliners. It really doesn’t have anything to do with the weight. Since it’s introduction, it’s been one of the fastest sub-sonic passenger aircraft.
