... What? They’re just reporting that it exists. What’re they supposed to do, ignore it?

It’s crazy the price to performance ratio on this gen of video cards. AMD and Nvidia are bringing the best out of each other and it’s great for us as consumers. I just got a 1060 6gig and it crushes my buddies 980ti and I only paid 230 bucks. That’s insanity.
Hell there’s a Holocaust museum in Hiroshima, there’s really no excuse why shit like this is still a thing.
Well Japan has more or less always been in denial over what they did in WW2. The general consensus has been “That was us, but it wasn’t really us”.
They don’t even get taught about their own atrocities (Nanjing Massacre and so on), so how could they know about the atrocities committed by their WW2 ally.
If there’s one thing you cannot hold against the German, it’s that they really teach their population the atrocities of WW2. It often feels as if Japan doesn’t care.
I love movies. I love them so, so much. And for the longest time, a majority of my life I suppose, I loved theaters because of it.
But in the last decade, when the home experience became very close to “as good as”, if not better (if one is willing to put in the time and effort), I find the drawbacks to public viewing…
I’ll trade you the kids for the elderly couples who explain everything to each other at a “whisper” throughout the entire film.
Reminds me of a situation with teens. They came in to see a movie and they were behind us and off to the side. They kept whispering loud, giggling, and all that other crap. Finally, I got up when the screen got white and I just said “STOP!” They all looked at my face and that actually stopped. They didn’t make a…
Once the actual movie starts and someone is distracting me, I say something and will escalate the language if they don’t stop.
All these people really need something like an Alamo Drafthouse...they are serious about a. no children in most movies, b. no checking your cellphone, and c. no noise. They will kick you out, you won’t get a refund, and you will be banned. They also do reserved seats.
What kills me is people who use cell phones to check facebook or text during films. I’m not sure they understand that the light from their phones, even when turned somewhat dim, is like a gigantic flashlight to everyone behind them.
I never went to one with reserved seating the first 30 years of my life. Now all the theaters that didn’t have it before swapped their normal seats out for the big comfy lounger ones causing the seat count to drop significantly so now they all do reserved seats. I actually prefer it this way so I can see a movie on…
Wait, there are actually cinemas that do not have reserved seating? Damn I’ve been spoiled, because I’ve never visited one that did not have this.
Even if you prefer the original design (and still don’t have one), there will be excellent deals from two weeks on.
Many blessings to you, Jason Schreier. You’re doing the lord’s work on this here website and have been for a good long time now.
Shit, you found my alt accounts.
And not a SINGLE one of them had a moment of self reflection and were able to admit they were wrong and that their passion clouded their reasonable judgement.
The older I get the, the more I disconnect myself with other “gamers.” I just don't understand this mindset, ****ing nut jobs.
That poor man lost a personal friend between GameStop visits.
