All-in, I agree. It’s just a little weird, like if you bought a new Mercedes and it came with a 12W stereo with 2 speakers...because OF COURSE you’re expected to upgrade! It’s one of the only product families I can think of that works this way.

I love the fact that we have all mass adopted soundbars. Just proof that flat panel makers have been phoning it in for a decade now (to be fair, you can't do too much with a 2" thick plastic case). I cranked up my old 27" Sony CRT the other day for the first time in a few years...shocking how good TV audio used to be.
