I’m glad I took the (highly not recommended) 2 hour bus ride from Hakone to go see it! Take the train from Tokyo instead!

That’s actually the one I want the most. I consider it the last of the classic style that hasn’t gotten a remake treatment outside of the HD release and in the Chronicles series.

*Third Impact intensifies*

There are no intelligent adults seriously discussing consent issues in Snow White. There’s just people who went into college normal, and then came out with a woke cancer rotting away their brains.

Code Veronica could also really use a remake, especially since it’s the canonical sequel to RE2.

If it kept more of the plot and had more similar gameplay I might agree with you, but other than some character and setting names and the initial setup of “man loses young daughter in creepy town infested with monsters after a car accident and sets out to try to find her” Shattered Memories has little in common in

As someone who knows way more about the Silent Hill franchise than I should for someone who has never played a single game in the franchise, that game is more of a reimagining than a remake. It takes the basic initial plot setup of the first game and takes it in a very different direction, and the gameplay is

Thanks, helicopter parent. I’m out. I stopped reading at a certain point because I realized you missed the whole issue, that is, we should teach kids right from wrong and that pointing out that kissing sleeping people isn’t necessarily a good thing by adding context to what was essentially a kiss for somebody who was

Well most of my favorite childhood games already got remakes. But one I’ve been wanting is another Resident Evil remake in the RE Engine. After finishing RE3 Remake, I went and played through RE Remake HD. It was still solid but after seeing how RE2/3 Remakes look and play I really wanted to explore the Spencer

When would your child go around kissing other sleeping children? I mean, I guess at nap time but then they would just get corrected...

It’s almost as if they forgot the idea that is was “true love”, ie: they were both in love with each other... It also conveniently leaves out the whole Happily ever after schtick.

Yeah, by no means would a child have to be particularly bright in order to figure that out.

For God’s sake, Sam, can we cut this nonsense out? The “backlash” to the new Disney ride consisted entirely of one editorial on SFGate before Fox News picked it up and ran with their brand new culture war football. There is no need to play their game. I don’t care what two people on some editorial webpage have to say:

There are lots of reptiles, just like there are lots of barakas

True. Not everything has to be a fucking Chris Nolan suduku puzzle. I could get down with a really gritty feudal japan period piece of just sub zero and scorpion though.

I have no problem with them making these characters obtain their powers by awakening them. It actually gives us some character development, regardless of how small or weak it is.

This was so great, I loved that it functioned as a prequel to the movies to come. I know a lot of people are gonna bitch about the lack of tournament but I was perfectly fine with what we got, goofy bits and all. Some epic fight scenes with epic fatalities was all i ever really needed but they managed a halfway decent

X really only made sense after 9's gut punch of an ending. Then XI came and just sorta said “nothing matters anymore, there’s more timelines than in all of Doctor Who.”

First off, if you’re looking for a brutal spectacle, Mortal Kombat delivers. If you’re in this to see mostly familiar characters get hit so hard that your teeth rattle, you’re good. If you want to see modern fatalities, the gruesome gory ones, depicted in a somewhat passable facsimile of real life, that’s in there

Yeah, the key element for a Mortal Kombat movie or game is always the plot.
