What the actual fuck

Alternate Headline: “El Muerte es Muerte”

Pom Klementieff seems like kind of a weirdo & I am into it. She and Karen Gillan teaming up for something in non-Mantis and non-Nebula makeup would be fun and obviously sexy

I think we can all agree that Bad Bunny’s small role in the hit Bullet Train proved that he can carry an F-list Spider-Man villain movie that doesn’t feature Spider-Man.

That day will come when Disney gets tired of having to work and share profits with Sony and says “how much for you to just go away?”

Sill waiting for that moment when Sony realizes they have nothing left to squeeze from the Spider-Man IP, and hand it over to Disney.

Sony has removed El Muerto—the Spider-Man-adjacent film about a Mexican wrestler who gains superpowers—from its release schedule entirely

The argument made is that casting for roles that do not have cultural trappings should not be forced to keep the ethnicity presented in prior source material purely because that was the ethnicity originally presented.

If they somehow pull this off, and rescue the crew, that CEO is going to be facing some serious consequences.

Who’s more to blame: Patty Jenkins or Gal... Actually both.

she’s great as wooden woman

Looks to me like there is no emergency ballast release mechanism on Titan. So if the hull didnt catastrophically fail and theyre stuck on the bottom due to a water ballast issue theyre screwed.

I read elsewhere that on a previous outing, the vessel got lost for a few hours and the support ship turned off the onboard Internet to prevent anyone posting to social media about it until the incident was over.  So . . . I could actually kind of see them deliberately excluding a beacon for the sake of PR damage

Sounds like just another commie whistleblower wanting to gum up American business and profits with needless regulations!

Transponders won’t do you much good if you have had a catastrophic failure of the hull.  It’s highly likely that’s what happened.

The steel hull would have required specialized, expensive crane boats, which this company liked to boast they didn’t need for their deployment.

That’s not a stupid question at all. Transponders that can send a signal from that far down do exist, but given everything we’ve learned about Oceangate it wouldn’t surprise me if they didn’t include one on this little death trap.

What do you mean, not run by smart people? The people running this company are rich. You can’t get rich unless you’re really smart.

File this one under “profit motivates the private sector to deliver better and cheaper results than the public sector”

Uh, carbon fiber submarine hull??? Wtf.
