In this economy, 4K for any functional vehicle is a good price. For one this clean, it’s a steal.

It is heavily airport and time dependent, at my home airport in Lauderdale I usually breeze through pre in 10 minutes or less. Coming home from Denver recently pre took about 40 minutes. Both times my bag got searched and they inspected and swabbed random stuff that I was allowed to have, my power bank and a candle

I was thrilled when they first announced the Miami Gran Prix, then very let down when I found out the ticket prices. I will most likely never go to an F1 race with the prices they are asking.

Definitely, Ramsey’s advice can be extreme and often impractical for many people but the problem he is trying to address is real. Way too many people borrow money to buy more car than they need at a ridiculous interest rate, then trade it in 5 years later because it’s not shiny any more.

I financed my SUV with 25% down, low interest, and paid off the 5 year loan in 4 years. Meanwhile the investments would have had to sell to buy the SUV cash have been making me about 15% a year.

I still can’t believe they cut that SNL sketch, it’s one of the funniest things they’ve done recently.

I’d guess every patron is livestreaming their meal on Instagram.

My last flight was on a MAX 9 and it was uneventful, but I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t nervous. I’ve noticed some airlines don’t seem to be showing plane type when you book, probably because they don’t want us to pick and choose.

I’ve always assumed phones pose no threat to plane electronics. I’m sure if you could knock a plane out of the sky by leaving your phone on, terrorists would have figured that out years ago. If phones posed any real threat you would be forced to surrender them at boarding so they could be put in a faraday container

I’m somewhat surprised they priced this thing so close to the GX. A Land Cruiser edition with the premium package is 70K, same price you’d pay for a GX Overtrail.

I’m sure some big money liberal donors would be happy to step up and fund this, hell if John put up a go fund me I’d donate.

This definitely seems to make room for the 4Runner to go down a size and maintain it’s 40K ish starting price, using the new Tacoma platform.

Same.

Ramsay makes some valid points: lots of people borrow way too much at ridiculous interest rates to buy vehicles they don’t need. His solutions are extreme to the point of insanity however. He tells people only millionaires should even consider buying a new car. If everyone followed that advice the car market would

There is absolutely no reason for a rich yacht buyer to want a large scale submarine like this. It’s far more safe, comfortable and cost effective to eat and sleep on your mega yacht floating on the surface, then pop down on your mini sub to explore reefs when the mood strikes you.

I’ve heard this movie was coming, but for some reason I always assumed it was an animated comedy. It never occurred to me until seeing this still that it might be live action.

Others have commented on this but there are generally established safety procedures. The lift staff are supposed to check every car at the end of the day before shutting down. Someone screwed up badly here.

I’ve been skiing for 30 years and I’ve never seen a gondola with any sort of alarm or emergency alert button.

I enjoyed his series on Japan, and definitely planning to watch the India show at some point.

Change it to PeepeePoopooTime Lane.
