This article doesn’t even mention the potential injury risk from the slicers. It will only take a few lawsuits from employees cutting off their fingers to negate any cost benefits.

That’s only for a black start button, if you want it in red it’s 25K

I’m not sure if the political climate here will ever allow us to do the level of infrastructure spending you see in Europe and Asia.

Does she want to sell it? I’m shocked mileage was that bad for a small car.

I was really blown away by a recent trip to Japan. Not only are platform barriers pretty ubiquitous, but the high speed trains have no road crossings whatsoever. They’ve put an amazing effort into safety.

How bad are the ride and fuel economy trade offs for the overtrail? The setup looks awesome but is it worth the tradeoff if you are not planning to do any serious off roading?

I LOVE the Sportcross, came close to buying one a few times and still regret not picking one up years ago. They are hard to find now though. owners know how rare they are and want a huge premium over the sedans, especially for clean ones.

Why is the note in English?

I’ll call it a grey area, but for this question I’d take the proven decade old design of the 4Runner over the new fancy hybrid Land Cruiser. I’m sure the LC will be very dependable as well though, Toyota is not going to screw around with their legendary nameplate.

The question specified new cars, and unfortunately as of today you cannot buy a new Land Cruiser in the US.

I am 6'4" and had to sit in the back of a CLA once for a brief 5 minute drive to lunch. Can confirm it’s pretty useless. Mustangs and Camaros are spacious by comparison.

Their performance models are a bit of a cult product but people do buy them and they offer a reliable alternative to the German brands. ISF values are still high a decade after it went out of production. An SUV would reach an even broader customer base. Plus with their model line there are so many compelling

A UX with the Corolla GR drivetrain would be pretty compelling.

I’ve always thought it’s surprising none of the Japanese automakers have offered a serious performance SUV to rival the German and American offerings. A Lexus RX with the v8 from the LC500 would be a very compelling and much more reliable GLE AMG competitor.

I’ve had a 98 Altima, 2 300ZXs (still own one) and a 1994 J30.

The vast majority of the cars I’ve owned have been Nissan products, but the newest was a 1998. They have really dropped off this millennium.

The offered the 4 cylinder for a few years early in the model cycle, it’s been 6 cylinder/5 speed only since 2014.

The 4Runner dropped the 4 cylinder in 2014, it’s been V6 only since then.

The Telluride sells well, but that’s a 40-50K vehicle.

This is ridiculous, and Honda’s response definitely makes me think twice about buying one of their products.
