This is completely unsurprising, there are always locals who don’t want any large events in their community due to noise and traffic. Most Miami locals HATE Ultra music festival with a passion, people complain about Art Basel, etc. This is nothing new.

Audi started this trend years ago with the side blades on the first gen R8

Have to agree on this one, I knew a few people that had them and this generation were good cars! They just had the misfortune to be popular with the people who spawned the memes.

These people are also monsters.

the cost of attending a Miami or Las Vegas is still cheaper than traveling to an event overseas”

It’s going to be priced out of the hands of all but the wealthiest teenagers.

Is that you El Chapo?

Wrong Ferrari in the pic.

CARMAX has definitely caught on to the maintenance costs of older European luxury cars and have priced their warranties accordingly. A few years ago, before the current marketplace mess, I was looking at an E63 at CARMAX that was selling for about 22K. I asked for a quote on the warranty and it was almost 10K for the

I’m not sure how that’s any worse than holding in a clutch. If you put your stick shift in neutral to sit in traffic, that is also an option on an automatic.

Couldn’t agree more. After daily driving my 5 speed 300ZX for several years in South Florida traffic I bought a 4Runner as a second car. My irritation level in stop and go traffic is significantly less.

I’ve had the same experience with my 1994 300ZX. I wish someone would sell me an extended warranty!

They’ll make it work, semi-organized chaos is the Florida way. I just wish I could afford to go. The cheapest one day tix to the race are over $1500.

South Florida resident! All of your states’ bad drivers come here on vacation, so in addition to the native craziness (which is considerable) we have all the bad driving habits from every other state. Plus all the bad driving habits from Latin America.

In my experience the European rental car companies, Europcar especially, are VERY strict on even minor damage. Most big American rental companies don’t even look for minor scratches. I have twice had Europcar issue a bill over incredibly small windshield rock chips that were barely noticeable to the naked eye, maybe

At work, but it’s Friday. Jeans and a golf shirt.

Any container full of wine counts as one glass, whether it be a standard 5 ounce pour or a literal bucket.

I didn’t know they let blind people drive. Boom! Judged.

Also, a good portion of our “crazy airline passenger” stories are idiots from New York who come down here to party and get wasted before their flight.
