the worst

I like how the cops that patrol it hide in the grass behind trees for their speed checks. My sister and I called them the “leaping gazelle” cops because they seemed to just pop out of nowhere to pull you over

I had an ‘84 bmw 528e once. Even as an “efficiency” model tuned for torque rather than horsepower it made 123hp from 2.7 liters (and 177lb-ft).

I read the ship name as “Vistaprint” and imagined it was in a rush to deliver cheap business cards

I was holding my breath when he first went through the wall expecting him to just fall into a pit

The same thing happened to my friend’s neighbor’s pulling tractor a while back

I literally ended my last post by saying I’m glad it worked out, and I don’t want to see anybody dead or hurt. I’m very glad you survived, and you filmed some footage that would look faked if put in some action movie - yet you lived it and walked away. Mad props for that.

First of all, thanks for coming forward and speaking up where we can all see your response. I agree a video can only give part of the picture, and everyone’s an armchair critic until they’re the ones in the situation.

Hey I’m turning 30 this year, and remember those times as well. So much so that 2 years ago I bought an Outback XT with a manual as my DD. With a stage 2 tune it’s plenty quick enough for my usage, yet still looks like a boring 2 tone outback. 150k miles and I’m pretty sure it’s in better shape and running better than

Yeah I was kidding about the texting... that driver had a lot more awareness than most. As a motorcycle rider for 13 years who’s taken several safety classes I try hard to be more like the Acura driver than the guy on the bike who was following too close and only looking ahead! Practice using peripheral vision and

Crazy video, but I have a couple of questions

Good to know! I’m hoping to get into some rallycross as soon as my life stops being so busy... not sure how my long and lifted Outback XT could be capable of doing, but it should be fun

It’s a close tie for me between that and this one

Yeah I got white Sparco terras for my Subaru... maybe not a real deal rally wheel, but they look the part and were cheap enough to get for mounting my snows

Nope, I’m right there with you. I think I actually... like a corolla built after the 80's?

It’s almost like there’s a downside to all this “we have driverless cars now! The future is here!” talk by most tech and car companies nowdays... They speak big words to drum up interest and get their funding, and then people die when the reality doesn’t match their words and even the “safety driver” gets snookered

I love Subarus dearly and can see this being worth it to the person that has the money and wants exactly a special edition STI. That said the fact that my 13 year old Outback has the same longblock and actually makes more power than this with an exhaust and a tune says something. What exactly it says I’ll leave up to

Which goes to show you the downsides of getting complicated - my first 2 cars were a 1984 528e with 320k miles and a 1990 535i with 270k, and both ran like tops when I sold them. I could never do that with one from the last 20 years!

Tractionizing tires is totally a thing when it comes to winter rally racing, etc.... but as you can see it’ll wear out significantly faster than a stock tire. I’ve never seen an “aftermarket siped” tire and I would guess it doesn’t go to those extremes... but a way to increase tire life it isn’t!

came here for this, was not dissapointed
