I’m no lawyer and while I sympathize with this guy I have to think Dominoes has the legal high ground here. Again, not a lawyer but just wondering - if he kept a similar, but obviously joke livery (say DomiNOPE stickers) would he be able to keep it or would that not be enough? Personally I think that would be cooler…
Around here, Prius drivers seem to be some of the most aggressive drivers I’ve seen - tailgating everyone and cutting people off. Must be trying to preserve that momentum? I’ve only driven one once, a rental I used to drive to Maine to pick up the last car I bought. It worked great at only costing $12 over 4.5 hours…
My father in law made a pretty big point of showing me the 357 magnum he daily carries when I first met him... as if the stories I’d heard of him weren’t enough.
I had a rental RHD car with a stick in Ireland last year, and it took me about 20 minutes of concentration before it became second nature. Of course I’ve been LHD driving manuals for years.
There is a problem with this. I convinced my then gf -now wife to learn manual shortly before we got engaged because I’ve always only owned them and I wanted her to be able to drive my car in an emergency, or if her car broke. She was all about it and even ended up buying a manual car of her own to learn on.
But where does one acquire a “discarded” street sign? Asking for a friend
New favorite vintage car... thank you
I can see that being a nightmare!
Yeah, there is that...
Hammer festival, somewhere in Mexico. Basically what you said except instead of an airbag it’s homemade explosives... and instead of “the guy” it’s actually a whole bunch of people all trying to set off the biggest explosion this way.
My dad and I both seem to like de-badging our vehichles, which leads to a lot of old badges sitting around in the garage. The plastic ones are something, but the metal ones are cooler and better for sticking on other things. My dad’s Yamaha Maxim motorcycle says “Plymouth” on the side of it because of this
He did Monte in 2015 and placed 8th I think... so he’s made a guest appearance before. Still cool though
Comes with five years of warranty? Well in that case, count me in
The starter on my motorcycle can do that. Come to think of it, I had an mk4 GTI that I bypassed the ignition cutout switch on and it could move itself with just the starter, although I never did it intentionally
Never been to Japan (although I have some family there and would love to visit someday) but I think this advice is probably good for visiting a lot of countries. I was in Ireland last year and while sitting down for a full breakfast is great and all, most days we wanted to get out on the road early and an egg and…
A lot of these LC-130s operate out of the Stratton Air National Guard base in Schenectady, NY near me so even though Antarctica is thousands of miles away the video seems kind of familiar. I even got to see a takeoff with the JATO bottles as a kid at an airshow, which was pretty awesome. I’ve got a couple friends in…
I’m not going to disagree with you because yeah she definitely doesn’t seem to follow standard protocol and does some potentially dangerous stuff. That said she’s not exactly clueless as she is a scientist and has mentioned in her videos she’s always wearing a dosimeter to measure her yearly exposure in addition to…
