Bionerd! I just remembered her channel last week after finding it a couple years back and was delighted to see new videos. Definitely some insane access she’s got there and it makes for some great videos nobody else has

As a Subaru owner and lover I will say in my personal opinion I am fine with them loosing the boxer as long as they make a small hatch with their inline engine and use it to enter WRC again. A man can dream, right? Things in WRC are getting great again with Toyota and Hyundai and now Ford back in full... how cool

Having recently moved and rented a 17' Uhaul after a few inches of fresh snow I can confirm the RWD driftyness. Some box truck donuts did happen in a parking lot (before loading it with my stuff) but I definitely wouldn’t have wanted to try this. Respect!

I want to like this but.... meh. Doesn’t seem to do anything particularly better than my Outback, except look classier perhaps.

I know you meant “host of problems” but now I can’t stop thinking about a firehose that literally sprays problems. “Oh great, you know what you did? You just created a hose of problems and now we’re all about to get soaked.”

So many old CBs getting chopped up into cafe bikes. I can’t be one to talk as I did the same thing with my first bike, a CB360 I got at 17. Clubman bars, full paint job, eBay pod filters and lights. It really did look cool parked, but never ran right after that and I sold it for less than I paid for it. Definitely

My dad has an ‘82 yamaha maxim 650, fairly similar to this bike except more of a cruiser and with no turbo. I rode it for a couple years before I got a different bike too. It’s pretty much bulletproof mechanically and has always started up even after being stored for a few years. Definitely not modern with concern to

Certainly not taking my views of Michigan solely from Flint. I’ve actually spent the most time near Howell and saw a little bit of more rural land, as well as Ann Arbor which was pretty nice. Hopefully checking out the UP on my next trip out in August, so that might change my mind about things.

Ugh, for real. LOL @ onion on my belt, but you’re spot on

OK, that is exactly between the Adirondacks and Vermont fair enough. I’m between them at more of an angle, below Lake George

Yeah, spent some time in Ann Arbor and it was where I noticed the most imports, and indeed dealerships for the same. Seemed like a pretty nice place

Not disagreeing with you at all since my experience in the state is limited to about a week or so, but my wife was born and raised in Flint so I’m sure I’ll be spending more time there over the years with family. I don’t doubt there is a great car community, but it did seem like the overwhelming majority of cars I’ve

Yeah my wife grew up there, I’m from upstate NY in between the Adirondacks and the Vermont border. I finally visited Michigan with her last year and it was pretty much what I expected (and my wife didn’t really try to sell it either, she’s from Flint and it was about as described). It pretty much seemed like someone

That’s pretty much my experience too. Paid a bunch but it was fully worth it

Yeah I realized that last year on my honeymoon after arriving at Shannon airport at 7am and the price was wildly different than my online quote. Thankfully it being my honeymoon my wife and I were pretty flush with cash and I just sucked it up and paid (including the excess insurance). It ended up being a great trip

My parents had a string of hand me down cars when I was a kid, but the one that stuck in my mind was our black ‘90 ford Taurus wagon. Was it anything special? Not at all, but at the time it seemed like that - what with its rear facing 3rd row seat and the fact that it squealed the tires at every intersection when my

That looks like so much fun

Ok cool, I’ve been there a few times in the winter. Thought it looked like VT! Awesome car, seems like a ton of fun. What rallycross series is that? Seems like some events are only a couple hours from me

To the car owner/anyone in the rallycross scene around there - do I recognize the parking lot to Bromley mountain in the video where the horn sticks? I’ve whipped a few gravel donuts there before but a full rallycross would be a riot!

Not really arguing with you as I think you’re probably right, but the one time I saw a Hellcat driven in anger was at a dragrstrip and it lunched it’s drivetrain on the launch and had to be pushed off the track. Was it a fluke or a driver issue? Probably, like I said it’s the only data point for my anecdotal evidence.
