I think that was mainly a byproduct of the old EU’s obsession with explaining EVERYTHING. What were they in the movie? A neat detail on Han’s costume that Lucas was probably not even aware of. And then somebody made them into Corellian Blood Stripes that were awarded to Han for blah blah blah and were such a

All this, presumably, is taking place on Corellia itself, given that we know it’ll be in the movie and it is, after all, Han’s homeworld.

It doesn’t look like anything to me.

Kratos, your son is full of red orbs.

Pedantry alert, but the character is NOT Japanese-American. He’s an offworlder from a colony settled by Japanese and Eastern Europeans (hence Takeshi Kovacs). Many of the characters from Harlan’s World have nebulous, mixed ancestry.

If ‘Enthusiasts’ had actually bought the X1 in droves instead of spiting it, they might have left some design space in there for a ‘fun’ car. Same with the original 1-series.

Peter Capaldi and Matt Smith both deserved better than Moffat.

Here’s the thing: Del Toro is the sort of guy who will insert an entire scene into a Hellboy movie (the Goblin Market) as an extended reference to a Fahfrd and the Gray Mouser story by Fritz Leiber (complete with one of Lovecraft’s Elder Things wandering past in the background). Will anybody besides maybe .000099% of

I never get the hate for some Blade movies. I’ve found them all very entertaining and never felt the impulse for deep analysis.

Counterpoint; Blade 2 still hold up as well as I remember. The choreography is fantastic, Wesley Snipes is perfect as Blade, the reapers are suitably creepy, plus Ron Perlman being Ron Perlman. My favourite of the trilogy.

Pray he doesn’t alter it further.

Host: And now we have Cooper from Jacksonville, how’s it going Cooper?

“Our next caller is Andrew from Tennessee. What’s on your mind, Andrew?”

Just gotta get through this, Melania, she thinks as she walks through the whispering wood. Just gotta get through this.
