while the desk height thing is terribly important to ergonomics, I eliminated the chair problem by switching to standing desks years ago. Never looking back!

@muzicman82: Wow. Have you seen the FREE iRule software? It controls processors, HTTP, IR, Serial, and every other standard you can throw at it. And it controls it over IP using wired or wireless gateways that handle RS232, IR blasters, direct RC, and contact switches. It also seamlessly integrates a PC running

@Dsrtstorm9: While I agree that $9 is a little steep for an app, free is not a sustainable business model.

@meske: yes. you need 30.

One word: DROBO.

@RLJSlick: Agreed! I love my Motorola SR9-HD (i think) bluetooth headphones at the gym. Couple that with a Jabra Cruiser in the car, and I rarely plug anything into my phone anymore...

@corsair130: Yeah! We should have stayed with those ubiquitous and cheap parallel ports and serial cables!

@gemcosta: i thought the same thing, then I looked at it... The mic and headphone openings actually go through the case and into the body of the phone. Shine a light in there and you can see the guts.

@badasscat: You are never going to convince me that a 3.5" 320dpi screen with a high contact-point touch screen digitizer overlay is cheaper than plastic buttons. Ever.

Ugg... The reason I use Safari is because of the lack of extensions. Now, I'll be tempted to install twitter tools, link shorteners, password systems, and all the "extras" that make Firefox run like a one-legged fat guy.

@MrCrispy: the purpose of a treadmill desk is not to "work out", it's purpose is to allow standing and very slow walking (1.0-1.5 mph) while working to prevent too much sitting and to discourage a sedentary work day. Standing and very slow walking not only improve circulation, but standing burns 30% more calories

@Bramsey89: that's great. as long as you are satisfied with "fine"

@trexchard: I totally agree with the fact that they should be removed, or at least a Hide switch like the Nike+ app.

Cue the Mac haters to take the headline out of context.

Seems like a perfect solution for a multi-gadget guy like me. And way stronger than the business card holder I'm using now.

@macpatrik: One guy's emails can not be considered company gospel, no matter who the guy is. Think of where Microsoft would be if the company followed everything Ballmer spouted out of his sweaty mouth.

@HC: So, Motorola is putting out a software update that fixes the bars in the battery display instead of fixing the battery....

the real question is: Is it better to have an internal antenna that loses signal by blocking RF with your hand, or an external antenna that loses signal due to electrical conduction with your body?
