insult of the year

Hey, the numbers are correct! Way to go lol. Also I can't wait to put this in my FR-S.

I have a gun and I have already taken care of your family

I wasn't the one paying lol. I was 15 and my aunt payed (shes a cop to so it was pretty funny). She never said anything about a tip until we actually got there, so he did it pretty much incentive free I guess.

When I was in NYC last, I had to go from JFK to Grand Central Terminal in 40 minutes. The cabby we got was able to do it, but he was flying in the shoulder and in the exit lanes to pass traffic. He got a $100 tip for being awesome/lucky and we made the train. Is this commonplace? Or was he just crazy?

yup. lights in roundabouts are insanely counter-intuitive.

Meh. I do this every day.

I should not have laughed at this. But, oh, how I did! The internets for you sir. all of them.

same

I disagree. These cars definitely lived up to the hype.

Yeah I totally did the math for 1GB not 9.3 whoops

at 1000Mbps it should come in 8 seconds not 80

in that case, yeah, talk to a manager.

I would normally agree but minimum wage has not increased with inflation, it has been much slower. I don't have the numbers on hand, but I'm sure that's part of the change.

It's difficult, but not always shitty. Being a server at a high end restaurant takes a lot of skill and hard work. If you think otherwise you are sorely mistaken. Cost of living increases happen everywhere, even in tips.

When i say no tip, it's mainly because of one experience: I said my calzone was under cooked and the waiter took my knife and fork and took a bite and said "tastes fine to me". that deserves no tip.

Most other states allow waiters and others who work off commision to have 1/2 of minimum wage salary, so nobody gets paid over 3.something/hour in Maryland where I live.

Tipping less will not solve any of those problems. And you're really gonna gripe over calling it tipping? What the hell difference does it make.

Thats what I get for being busy haha. Sorry bout that.

Not if the toppings/fillings are inside a dish that cannot be opened for presentation purposes, and they might be held up with another table complaining (which they wont bother telling you about because that's rude), or the manager or other employees could be holding them up. I try to give the benefit of the doubt.
