Thor is more of a warmongering asshole than a brilliant asshole, but both he and Star-lord are at the very least "highly-skilled". So I guess it's a bunch of talented jerks?

It's more like Dark City than The Matrix.

Doctor Strange — I'm so ready to be done with this phase of Marvel. If I never see another origin story about a brilliant jerk who needs to lose everything and discover a greater purpose outside of himself, it'll be too soon. It was cute the first few times, but gottDAMN, do another trick already.

Fangoriously devoured by a gelatinous monster!

Heyyyy hooooo

HIPAA to the HOPPA and you just don't STOPPA

Season five is fantastic. Halfway through it abandons the "must stop terrorist attack" formula and just becomes Jack waging a one-man-war (or one man and Chloe, I guess) against the villain for basically entirely personal reasons. There's no reason to stick with the gimmick at that point, but they do anyway, and it's

So then are you advocating taking a clear and direct approach?

Do what the rest of us had to do — find a halfway-tolerable day job to pay the bills, continue to pursue the thing you love on your off time or whenever you have any energy left to devote to it, and hope against all hope, reason, and available evidence that either one will eventually lead to something more meaningful.

Oh god, I hope I didn't act like this woman when I was in a similar situation. I co-sign with the people recommending space and distance. Express what you feel you must, but failing that I'd ghost this person altogether. Your friendship is not good for her.

THERE WAS FIVE OF EM! IT TOOK FIVE OF EM! NOBODY DOES THIS TO ZANDIG!

I'm a going-on-34 married man who will probably never have occasion to tell someone I'm interested in them ever again. This is just a survey question, not specifically looking for any personal advice.

Holy shit those fuckers at r/relationships are a judgmental bunch. There's nothing you can't get yelled at for, apparently.

Last week I asked the question, "How do you tell a woman she's beautiful?" And the feedback I got essentially boiled down to "Don't tell a woman she's beautiful," which I found highly illuminating.

Christ, these movies are so fucking good. But you can't watch a whole bunch of them in a row, it gets way too depressing. 7 years is actually a good distance to space them out, gives you time to regroup and whatever.

Yeah, ok, but HOW THE FUCK IS THIS LAUNCHPAD MCQUACK DIFFERENT FROM THE ONE IN DUCKTALES????
