My mom's favorite show. I was not allowed to watch primetime network TV growing up. Only this and The Cosby Show were wholesome enough (even Full House and Saved By The Bell got too risqué for her standards). Neither is something I'd watch today, but I treasure the good memories I had watching TV as a family when I

South Park is losing its touch. Even 10 years ago they would've been smart enough to make the little girl's letter say "I BWAKE UP".

This kid is building up one hell of a resume. He's Tom Hanks' son in Bridge Of Spies, he's Charlie Brown in The Peanuts movie, then he's the disappeared kid in the Disappeared Kid Show. It'll be interesting to see what he ends up doing in the future.

Man, he's been in a slump lately.

"They never see you coming, do they?" So fucking badass, he makes you forget Gandolfini was in the movie.

Shit, check out Triple 9, which stacks C. Affleck and Harrelson up with Ejiofor, Aaron Paul, Anthony Mackie, Norman Reedus, Kate Winslet, Gal Gadot and Michael K. fucking Williams and still never rises above mediocre.

God, Brie Larson was amazing in that not-particularly-good movie.

You Can Count On Me is just so, so great.

The reason why this tone worked in the Nolan films but not the Snyder films is because Nolan also attempted to make the setting more grounded — nothing impossible really happens in any of his films (let's ignore the ending of TDKR for now) — Nolan is more interested in his Big Psuedo-Philosophical Ideas and the

Which was a fucking stupid-ass book in the first place, but at least in The Stranger the guy gets what he deserves.

Clearly, she wanted to bang you. You should've banged her, dude.

Great piece, Jesse Hassenger. I come to this series from roughly the same POV and I agree with most of your assessments, particularly with I and V getting a worse rap than they deserve. I mean, they are both deeply, heavily flawed, but they're also a lot more interesting than some of the more recent entries.

Sia is 40.

Oh boy, get ready for the South Park Corey Feldman episode, everybody!

Why is it so important that we blast our shitty opinions to the world? Who appointed us quality control? Where does this entitlement that we MUST let everybody know that we think something sucks come from?

It's unfortunate the Reasonable Discussions thread gets posted the same day as the Smackdown Live review. All the discussion goes on there.

Happy birthday! Does turning 34 feel as shitty as it feels like it's going to feel? Asking for definitely nobody in particular.
