Don’t worry, I absolutely understand the emotion. The people that were closest to it are focused and very much entitled to the rage they feel. I’m not being trite at all.

I’m getting really tired responding. That’s no rhetoric — I’ve been doing it for hours and I’m genuinely getting sleepy.

That’s an actual argument and one that shouldn’t be ignored. My personal opinion, and it is just that, is that Violent Serial Rapists escalate - as Bernardo did before Karla, and that escalated into Murder.

Here’s mine, from the ‘40s. There’s about an inch of concrete behind that tile. We’re about to do repairs in the shower, and I actually managed to find a company that still makes that pink tile. And a guy who’ll fix my shower without insisting on ripping out the whole bathroom.

So the guy who just inked a deal for BILLIONS in arms sales to Saudi Arabia, a country that’s been indiscriminately murdering hundreds of Yemeni civilians, shows up demanding an apology from an anti-capitalist peace advocate for the systemic abuse that dude’s predecessors committed against First Nations people?

While he opens up Western Canada for more oil extraction and pipelines. Pope isn’t fooled by Trudeau’s looks and relative distance from Trump. Trudeau does not get a pass.

Considering how bad Trudeau apparently is on global warming and the climate change crisis, and the Pope’s diametrically-opposed opinions therein (given his “gift” to 45)... maybe the face is warranted?

Yessss. Yes. Yes. Yes.

This. I never expected to be partnered, let alone married, because I was the perpetually single girl who couldn’t get any male attention even if I’d walked naked into a bar full of sailors on shore leave. Eventually, I just decided to stop waiting around for a man and built a life I was happy with on my own. It wasn’t

The “Religion” episode was the only one that I thought was really uneven. I am guessing that there are just too many non-actor “actors” in that episode - especially his “model” cousin. Some of the acting, and a little of the topical stuff, seemed so after-school special in comparison to the other episodes.

The sixth

I think it’s cute?

She’s been punished. Many would argue that she’s also been tortured. What you’re saying is that you believe that she deserves more of the same. That’s a good look, friend.

Let’s all remember that without Chelsea Manning the American Public would not know about American intelligence supporting terrorism, despots, spying on the UN and allied nations and malfeasance in the war on terror in Afghanistan. Then let’s reflect that all of this was illegal. Then let’s reflect that President Obama

It’s weird, isn’t it?! Almost like there’s something different about Chelsea Manning versus pretty much any other commuttee! Maybe like some folks perhaps feel more strongly that she should have bad things happen to her because of something other than the things of which she was convicted!! It’s a goddamn mystery!!!

I simply cannot wait for the conservative meltdown over this. This is almost the only thing I want to hear Caitlyn Jenner’s opinion on, if only so I can watch her struggle mightily to form a coherent thought on the subject. I think her head might explode.

On the surface this seems pretty awesome. I just hope that she made the amounts less than $14,000 though since she opted to pay the kids directly. If she gave them more substantial amount than that those kids will have to pay income tax on what she paid them directly because it counts as normal income and not a

I’m just going to drop this in the middle of the firestorm of comments, because you are lucky enough to live in the UK:

Not to totally disagree with you, but Ted Cruz is not a creepy shit. He’s a dangerous, calculating, holier-than-thou, psychopathic, conniving, power-hungry, creepy shit.

It was horrible. Why are final episodes of long-running shows so frequently awful? This whole baby thing is just so not true to the overall nature of the series as it is, but the finale truly felt like an extra shitty episode of Thirtysomething.

Let’s be a little less ethnocentric shall we? The most horrible parts of the Handmaids tale is being played out right now in places in Afghanistan and Saudi Arabia. Women in the Muslim world have been living this type of night mare for a long time now (I’m not speaking about all Muslims just the ones who want to go
