Living this idea...
Mom?
I like wallpaper used strategically, in small spaces, to give it some oomph. My sister-in-law did something in her former kitchen, with wallpaper above the wainscotting in the breakfast nook area, and it looked amazing.
I have never really liked her as an actress ever since Saint Elmo’s Fire. Something about her overacting and annoying voice. She sort of redeemed herself by acting in Groundhog Day, which is a favorite of mine, but I would probably have preferred a different actress for the part.
We moved away for several years, and lost touch with his former coworkers. It’s terrible, but I haven’t paid attention to how our JJC is.operating nowadays. It’s still the same juvenile judge, though.
Not all of them are.
I got to see The Eagles at New Orleans Jazz Fest in 2012. Extra glad now that we went; it was spur of the moment. They put on a great live show, and Glenn will be missed. There goes another part of my childhood.
Before he died, he was reviled as an alleged child molester, and was the punch line to many a joke.
My kid is a few years older than yours, but, is similar in temperament. He’s a very gentle young man, loves animals and his little cousins and his grandma.
I was the victim of a violent crime many years ago.
I would have kept the salsa. On the rare occasion that I drink, I drink furiously, and I always feel like death the next day. I crave foods like salsa to kill the nasty mouth taste.
I don’t think it’s “evil” whatsoever!
I haven’t worn it in several years, but to me, it was the best scent. Very light, very delicate, very...happy! I’m kind of hoping someone remembers that I like it and gets me a bottle for Christmas. Perfume is the one item I just can’t buy for myself, for whatever reason.
That picture is almost illegally adorable.
It had a Play-Dough smell on me. In 1980, every person in my boyfriend’s family gave me Emeraude for Christmas. I was still wearing Charlie and Smitty that year; a year later, I discovered YSL Opium, and wore that for decades. Then it was Clinique Happy, which I still love but no longer use, because so many people…
My little sister got the Barbie jet plane for Christmas one year, and we played with that for years. She and I created this entire, complex universe with our Barbie stuff in our bedroom, and we had a lot of it, but that airplane was the absolute best thing ever!
Rudolph is a morally bankrupt fail of a cartoon! It has bothered me ever since I was a little kid, and the messages it conveys are horrible.
We don’t normally buy lottery tickets, but we do put them in stockings, as one gift of many, on Christmas. It’s fun to sit around together after dinner and scratch them, to see who won anything. But as the only gift, that would be kind of lame.
Yes, there was a series of fairly warm winters back in the late nineties. My son was born in 1997, and it wasn’t till he was in pre school that he was ever really able to go out and play in measurable snow. We are in the Midwest, so this was unusual.
