I mean, at Evo this year, Melee had 1,351 registered players, and Smash 4 had 1,354 registered players. Melee isn’t dead yet because they game is still good, and neither of the sequels play similar enough to kill the Melee scene. Ultimate will be a fantastic game, and I bought a Switch for it, but it’s not gonna kill

Because people enjoy playing and watching it?

If Nintendo made it as easy to purchase their back catalogue as it is for me to purchase music from Google Play, I wouldn’t have Dolphin on my computer.

God dang I’ve been playing this game and watching it for 17 years now and it’s still fun. Nice to see it getting some positive coverage on here.

Nier: Automata was one of my favorite games of all time until it made me play as 9S, where it became a game that I blitzed through so I could get back to the parts that made it one of my favorite games of all time.

I wouldn’t have Dolphin on my PC if Nintendo gave me a way to play their old catalogue on my Switch. I stopped pirating music when I found out Google Play is $10 a month and lets be download their music onto my phone.

Some guy on twitter is not her professional peer. Professionals have to prioritize their feedback. What this sounds like is a very, very burnt out developer tired, and possibly traumatized by public scrutiny who is lashing out. Yeah, she did a bad thing, and had a history of it, but the atmosphere of constant

Top one was her blowing off legitimate discussion and critique, something creative writing in a team setting absolutely demands.

Second one is the TB tweet.

I feel like if you are going to mention your employer on your social media site, like Price did in her Twitter bio, your employer has every right to fire you for being an asshat on Twitter. Even if it’s your personal account, once you put your employers name in it, you essentially just turned yourself into a “face”

Anthem being #1 on that list is encouraging. That game got a lot of hate when announced, and the trailers have been lackluster at best, but I genuinely hope it does well. A lot of people are judging it compared to traditional Bioware games, which seems unfair considering it’s not try to be a traditional Bioware game.

I thought this was a joke list until I saw both Tharja and a Lancia, and while Steve Martin is a long shot, I think making him an Assist Trophy would be dismissive.

I miss this guy. There was an episode of one of his shows where he went to Haiti right after the earthquake, and really just brought it down to earth with his empathy how hard the people were, and still are, suffering in Port-au-Prince. My church does yearly trips to Port-au-Prince and that episode is still mandatory

God I hate this ending to the point where I still haven’t beaten the game, even though I’ve done most everything aside from the final mission.

Boomer is easily the best part of Farcry. Never starts alarms or fights when I don’t want him to, brings me guns, and has x-ray vision marking people through walls. Best companion by far, a 15/10 dog.

So you’re saying it was a thing, in this one isolated incident, which was over a decade ago?

The Summit also hosts one of the best Melee tournaments out there; although it is weird when HotBid and Kotlguy are interviewing freakin’ Mango. Weird, but in a good way.

I would love it if Smash 4, Melee, and 64 all got ported to the Switch. Smash 4 needs it for the community, the Switch is selling insanely fast, and no one wanted a Wii U even when they were new. Just call it the ultimate edition, throw all the DLC characters in it, and roll in your money.

I feel like if you’re gonna sarcastically make white washing remarks, you should at least be able to Google the Spanish quote well enough to spell it correctly.

Things that seem obvious in hindsight.

It honestly sounds like a wildly niche restaurant.
