Thankfully not a variants of CMT are debilitating, and some of the lesser versions (like I have) bop around in families as an oddness this person or that person has. For my Dad, it was loss of feeling all down his legs. For me, temporarily numb toes. For my sis, loss of feeling in her feet. For various cousins, odd

I was in high school when the Perez Teen Titans booted. My sorta girlfriend at the time was a fan of the books, and appreciated that Starfire and Raven represented different aspects on the emotional scale. One was free and open and sex was part of her culture. The other was repressed and unable to break fee of the

Not sure why ALL recaps leave out the fact that this was written as a response to real registration acts, such as the Patriot Act, no-fly lists, and the government trying to snoop into every aspect of life. It’s like article authors grew up in this level of paranoia, and take it for granted. America used to be a much

107 MPH? I expect to see this on the roads in 20-nevitty-never.

In response, the Internet dropped 70 Petabytes of kitten videos on CERN.

Please elaborate.

Okay, so planets are bloody everywhere, organic molecules form relatively easily... Where are the freaking aliens?

When Pluto was discovered, a number of them sagely nodded their heads and said, “Ah, yes, we knew there was something out there. This just confirms it.” If I remember correctly, Crowley said it explained several things he knew had to be true.

I’ve ally loved the original Snow White & Rose Red story, and thankfully Disney never got their hooks into it. I hope this is indeed something different so the original is still pure.

My daughter & I lved the Percy Jackson Books. They are well-paced, and funny as hell. Chris Columbus, who I maintain ruins nearly everything he touches, made another boring, lifeless cgi-fest that is completely humorless. Why did they make a second film? Because the books are so darned fun! They nailed the sense of

I rewatched Lost Boys since I’ve had to go to Santa Cruz a bunch. It has not held up at all. I’d suggest Mystery Men. (Though I’m still waiting for a Flaming Carrot movie.)

Repo Man deserves a rewatch & report article way more than some of the other films io9 covers. It's freaking awesome!

Learn to use the finder, and don’t keep everything you own on the desktop. And best hint for learning finder, is to change finder default view away from “All My Files” to the home folder (house icon) in the finder preferences.

This sort of assumes you wouldn't learn it in a few weeks. Oh, wait, I'm an American I'm physically incapable of learning a new language.

I think there is a certain floor where we don’t need to bother with security. Not sure where it is with hotel thermostats, etc. But when we get everything connected to the Internet, do I really care if the security protocol of my blender isn’t up to snuff?

If you haven't seen it, check out the Kurosawa film, The Hidden Fortress.

This is neat to see all in one place with the names and clear examples, and leavened with a bit of droll humor. (Is there such a thing as a morph cut? It needs a proper name.) Kurosawa was the king of the wipe, which might be one of the reasons there are so many in Star Wars. Well done.

I swear, it seems to autocorrect after I send.

I hate to say it, because I worship her, but come on. Tehanu, ok, that was a gimme to give aged some closure (which he didn't really need). But this was pretty pointless.

It might be full of tigers! Little tiny scary Muslim tigers with dynamite where their stripes should be! And if we can’t get in there and kill them your children might be attacked by jihadi dynamite tigers, and then where will be, you America haters!
