Best looking game yet?

If it turns out to be a real improvement I'd wager it would eventually become standard. Even so couldn't they get rid of the round shape?

I guess kotakuies are too cool for GTA4 dlc. Of course many of them I recognize as PS3 fanboys, but whatever. Usually I read all posts before commenting, but this time I gave up after the first 50 since it's all the same bullshit.

And that $180,000 doesn't even count his time and genius. Well it should continue selling for a long time though. perhaps he should bring out a PSN version if it doesn't cost too much to port.

@karasu is my homeboy: Well it remains to be seen how much a permanent boost the 360 will get from all these JRPGs. The PS3 has virtually no JRPGs and is still selling better despite the 360 having the superior lineup. Eventually they will get up to speed and when they do the Japanese will pick Sony.

@LittleBigPlaneteer: Once the JRPGs start coming out for the PS3 as well, Sony's brand power will take over. I can see the race for 2nd being close, but not dominated by the 360. Then again if there is a resurgence of interest for home consoles in Japan then anything is possible.

Well the install base is growing slowly but surely so it is to be expected that highly anticipated games will sell more.

15 years ago or so I saw people playing Super Mario World on the snes in a Vancouver theater. Didn't look bad at all. I doubt there would be a resolution issue in the HD era.

@uzivatel: Why would it need to be patched? Theres nothing that is broken about it. Better inventory system, longer main plot, reduced texture pop-ins will come in sequels (hopefully).

@LittleBigPlaneteer: well ban temporarily if it's the first time, ban lets say for 1 day from their next attempt at a post. Then they'll have a clue. "First!" comments should be an outright ban since that is not acceptable behavior anywhere. Either way it'll be fun reading "THYR GNG T RRD LL" for the next couple of…

So is "Disemvoweling" done by staff? If so why not just ban? If not what can I do to disemvowel trolls?

@CCCombobreaker: well this isn't a close-nit forum where newcomers are rare. I agree those comments are annoying but there's no fair way to deal with it other than letting it slide. One could check comment history to see if it's trolling or not but that's too much damn work.

Well the 360 will outsell the PS3 next week, for sure. It did when AC6 launched. I wonder if there will be any permanent boost or if sales will fall back to the 2-3k range after.

Obviously games don't make you smarter. Proof: 90% of the comments on Kotaku...

@FP_slomo788: It won't "run better" it will have higher quality textures due to the increased storage space. I'm curious to see how big of a difference it will make when it comes out
