I had to read the article to figure out that the pic in the post was Kate from GTA4. That's how forgettable she is... Sad really since I was really fond of GTA4 and she is the largest female presence.
@A Pimp Named DaveR: I was just picking on your car analogy because it reminds me of the whole "downloading is stealing" thing which in a way infringes on copyright laws. Which is absolutely ridiculous.
@A Pimp Named DaveR: You cannot compare infringing on IP to stealing a car. When you steal a car you TAKE AWAY the owner's ability to drive. When you infringe on IP then you're not taking away anything from them.
Nintendo will just use the U3 engine for it's next console.
@homernoy: Good point, they need to improve on their reliability image before they launch or else they could be stuck with the bad stigma.
I think this generation will probably be one of the longer ones. Who would bring out their next system early?
Guess I should buy one till Christmas then
Poor Shane Kim ahahahhaqhaha
Splinter Cell is one that should be on that list.
@Ra is on That 70s Show: The thing is those were the only games he had, he never played uncharted or anything other than sports games
I knew someone who traded in his 360 for a PS3, guess what games he has...... wait for it....... multi platform EA sports games! Thats it! He traded in the 60fps versions for 30fps versions (at the time). Talk about stupid people!
@UkGuru: "Microsoft needs to vary their games portfolio a bit."
@TheHun: I forgot to add that you could essentially call casual gamers: non-gamers, but thats not really fair since they obviously do play games.
@drlard: Don't take the word "hardcore" as it should be taken. The whole hardcore vs. casual is just a way of separating gamers into 2 groups.
@tdevore: It's an RPG, the optional targeting system they used is based on your stats. It's not a a 1-hit kill if you're of low level. You can play it in real time as well (like FPS) but your hits will still be based off of your stats since it is an RPG.
@Red Machine D: Oh and make your own Fallout 2 expansion. It's what you want isn't it? I think theres a level editor for that.
@3inst3in: Don't forget the antiquated, buggy, frustrating combat system!
somehow it all seemed more epic when first announced. Guess it's just better hearing about it though the live-blogging.
