I think the instrumental delivery of the band is the most interesting aspect of it. It was just an original sound for rock and roll, and totally worked with Morrison's voice. He did well with lyrics a decent amount of the time, but he was certainly no Joe Strummer in my book. He seemed like he was trying too hard. I

547. Sports celebrities to host all next season and every new episode for all of eternity.
548. Glory hole restaurant sketch

I didn't see it mentioned in the gazillion other comments I read, but I assume everyone else picked-up that Chuck was recording Jimmy before they showed the tape recorder. I mean it was just so obvious. So obvious that I thought it was a really tacky way to end an otherwise great episode and season. Season Three:

That's just cause he's more of a new-wave bro.

"We'll give them their own can of spray paint when they come through the door, and sell them on our Punk as Funk Mule specialty drink! One part Bullit Bourbon Whiskey, one part ginger beer and topped with a dash of the bartenders spit! I want to thank our friends at Lucerne cheese for providing plenty of free cheddar

Tons of potential if it downsizes its original vision. When was the last time you could say that about a show? They have some good material to work with heading into the second season though…let's hope they go into it with a clearer mindset.

FINALLY A GOOD EPISODE!!! YAAAAAAAY!!! I'm glad I stuck with this show now, it seems like it might actually have legs. They could've reached this point in about five episodes though…there was way too much useless fluff on the route to this episode. Hopefully they get more streamlined for season two.

Awwww…they filmed at my old apartment complex in Ocean Beach shortly after I moved out. They would open the door to the apartment above mine, and then they would somehow be inside a small house a couple doors down from our complex. It was like magic. I think the delapidated structure got a nice free paint job from the

Start with Minutemen "Double Nickels on the Dime." Perhaps the most punk rock statement ever made in album form. Once you have listened to a ton of punk rock, you realize how incredibly punk rock this album is. It showcases perhaps the greatest aspect of the genre that has been lost over time…originality. That being

This is a pretty good call. The women on this cast are so much better than the men right now. Just to think that Killam is kinda like the Will Ferrell/Phil Hartman go-to player of this era is just like…yikes. It's probably even more important to revamp the writers room though. Get the Mooney, Beck, O'Brien and Jost

The final still shot at the end of "Glory Hole" with the maintenance working staring at the camera while he is standing between Forest and the PhD student was perfect. This show is off to a nice start for season two.

Hmmmmm…if I could only have one, right now it would probably be "Things I Will Keep." Perfect build through the verses, triumphant chorus, and Gillard's epic guitar solo. Okasek's production really allows this one to shine as well. Many of Pollard's songs could have been sent to the stratosphere of greatness with this

NO "RHYTHM SECTION WANT AD!!!!!!!!!????" THIS LIST IS NINE E'S OF CLAY DAVIS SHEEEEEEEEEIT.

"I Hear A New World" would have been a great, oddball cover from Cast Your Pod to throw on this playlist. And I agree with bhowza: Cast Your Pod > The Else.

Mink Car is the worst. Came out on Sept 11th 2001 if I remember correctly as well. It is an album best forgotten.

"2082" is awesome. Good call.

Those cartoon airplanes were some of the worst CGI I have seen in a long LONG time. That was seriously amateur hour!

It's gonna be a good couple of months for the white race.

This discussion has some serious Caucasian persuasion going down in it. The only thing missing is some NPR in the background.

Best episode of the season so far, even though Gigilo Horse is still the best bit. The contestant imitating Gene Creamers was perfect. Awesome episode.
