He’s a beautiful human.  Not sure how you could come away with any other opinion.

Shit... and puke... and snot (so much snot).

Like Tyson said, “Everybody has a plan until they get punched in the mouth”. My wife and I, and countless other parents, had plans that lasted until night 4 of no sleep for anyone. And then we adjusted those plans. It happens, and our kids are fine-ish.

Her focus on the process of “making good turns” rather than the outcome seems spot on to me.  She knows she’s a world class athlete and belongs on the hill; if she focuses on the details the results will take care of themselves.  I admire this (even if I can’t always follow this approach in my daily life)

This gives new meaning to “taking one for the team”

I would pay $30 on pay-per-view to see that happen! Watching Russ get tighter and more upset as he realizes that he might lose would be delicious.

So AB signs a big dollar extension, plays 2 years and decides he’s not happy. We know what happens when a team isn’t happy with a player who’s under contract but it’s unclear what recourse a player has if they’re not happy but still have a full year or more on their contract.

“That Guy” rant incoming...

I would rather pay you $9 to sit and watch that interaction instead of watching almost any movie currently showing in theaters!

Bingo! Hearing “dickhead” won’t make a kid’s head explode, regardless of age. If you set boundaries on what kind of language is ok for your children, they’ll do exactly what we all did: not curse in front of adults and swear like a sailor when away from adults.

The fact that Westbrook seems genuinely happy with George’s success tells me a lot about what sort of teammate PG is. I don’t know how far they’ll go in the playoffs, but no team is taking the Thunder lightly regardless of their eventual seeding.

Watching that view from the side, Zion’s leap looked like something out of the “Matrix Training Program”. The trajectory of his jump didn’t follow what my mind thinks of as “normal”.

The race coverage was showing last night while we ate dinner. I was trying to explain to my kid just how fast Vonn and the other skiers were going because, as was mentioned, TV robs you of the sense of speed. As we were driving home on the freeway, I told my child to roll down the window and put their hand out as we

The Eastern Conference has been dogshit since I started watching basketball”

Did CBS tell Romo to knock it off with his “Here’s what’s about to happen on this play” fortune telling? In the division championship game, he was on fire with his predictions, but on Superbowl Sunday, he didn’t make any (that I heard, but I sort of grayed out at the end there).

... and that guy is an insufferable prick.

Me reading the lead paragraph: “STFU and sit down.”
Me processing that line: Oh, she defended Cardi B in some teacherly fashion.
Me reading the teacher’s tweet: “d) STFU and take a seat”
Me processing the teacher’s tweet: ❤️

I’m not seeing an entitled athlete crying because he was deprived of a perk. I see a guy that set goals for himself, worked his ass off, and feels hurt that he was overlooked when he thought his play warranted an all star selection.

Like many of your readers, I’m supposed to be working right now. Instead... well, you know. I read this section starting with: “Here is a question. If Anthony Davis were a pie...” and started laughing out loud.

Because I have kids who ruin everything, allow me to share this with you:
