If you fat-shame her, you don’t hurt her, you only hurt fat people in general. So no, don’t do that.

I did not. Sorry, Kinja style comments are a pain to me, I mess up sometimes. It was intended for OP (Rauth) to follow up on your very good question.
That’s because it’s not about being offended on “behalf” of others. It’s listening to people when they say that they’ve been hurt or upset and believing them even if I myself wasn’t affected that way, and being annoyed at others who dismiss their feelings as being illegitimate or stupid.
“I have no reason to be offended by this, so therefore it’s not offensive!”
“I knew a black guy once. He was a total Stepin Fetchit!”
“Attention seeking” is a funny way to spell “empathy.”
I think there should be an OPTIONAL setting to make it harder and more unpredictable. A survival mode. But I don’t agree with the idea that the game should be Dark Souls levels of hard, as one person opined. I fell in love with Far Cry in the first place because of the fun, polished gameplay in 4. Hell, I’m playing 5…
... what???
“wah, I can’t kill Christians”
Glad to see D-Dog get some love here.
No need to apologize! I myself was worried that I was too harsh with “explain yourself.” Which you didn’t need to do, but did anyway! So thank you! I understand your reasons and perspective, and will not press you on the matter any further.
Explain yourself. Unless you’re only basing your opinion of him on the first game, in which case, no explanation is necessary, but playing the other games and/or reading the books is highly recommended.
Witcher 1 is, in my opinion as a fan of the books and the later games, absolutely dreadful. Witcher II is much better, and III—which you can play on its own—is highly deserving of its praise, and Geralt himself in that game is a big reason why. He’s a delight.
I only watched a playthrough, but it’s incredibly obvious that 95% of the game is just the assets of MGSV, with a few tweaks here and there. Say what you want about Kojima fanatics hating on the game, but don’t ignore the obvious.
From the headline, I initially thought that this would be about games that are more upsetting to play once you become a parent. My first thought was “The Last of Us.” That opening sequence was utterly harrowing as a parent.
I really want to get into Yakuza, but 0, even at $30, is out of my price range. I got Kiwami for cheap at Best Buy, though. Will I be okay playing it first and 0 (the prequel) second?
The first game is awful and Geralt is boring and annoying in it. Please please PLEASE give 3 a chance. I also loved 2, but 3 deserves its reputation, and Geralt is wonderful in it.
Good explanation!
Which sucks, because not too long ago, the AV Club had some of the best comment sections out there. Then came the Kinjaning.
Wait, then what’s the type of drunk who gets really sad and cries a lot? Why do none of these address people who get depressed by the depressant?
