He’s not trying to keep them from getting royalty payments, he’s just not giving them HIS royalty payments.

Seeing people here saying to avoid the MSX games, and I wholly disagree. I only played them recently, and I found them to be absolutely wonderful and satisfying. MG2 in particular was a small masterpiece of the time. I struggle with a lot of older games, even ones I used to be able to play as a kid (I can no longer

I recall hearing that Jack Warner wanted the “Cool, Cool, Considerate Men” musical number cut out of 1776 so as not to offend his pal Richard Nixon, and even ordered the print destroyed, but it was secretly saved by someone involved with the film and was thus eventually able to be restored. Says a lot about how hated

I remember playing GTA V right after playing Yakuza 0, and I found myself dismayed that I couldn’t interact more with the mundane, everyday things to do in the city. I wanted to go into the shops, try all the restaurants, kill time with activities that, unlike golfing at a fancy country club, are things I’d actually

I prefer the pixelated sprite look, especially in this game’s case. Not surprisingly, the concept art was by Paul Robertson, an excellent pixel animator who worked on the Scott Pilgrim game and the second and third Shantae games. I could look at his stuff all day.

But generally, yes, I love pixels. I think they make

Some of my personal favorites to add:

Count me in as yet another person wondering why the hell “Santa Clarita Diet” wasn’t included!

It’s 2022 and journalists are still doing “Holy ______, Batman!” copy gags, I see. Remember when seemingly every single article about superheroes or comics (even none superhero stuff like books by Chris Ware) included that and/or "Biff! Bam! Pow!"? I guess the fact that this is the first one I've seen in a while.is

Glad to know I’m not the only one wondering about how this show is constantly omitted in articles like this. Especially because the show was very enjoyable and the supporting cast was great.

Your Disco Elysium essay was so poetic, so powerful, that I consider it an essential companion to the game itself. I knew at that point that yours was a name worth remembering. I greatly look forward to your future endeavors, where I hope you’ll be able to thrive better than you were here.

I highly recommend the first one. What it lacks in combat variety it more than makes up in writing, acting, atmosphere, and sound design. Unless you prioritize combat, in which case, yeah, that’s not so interesting. For my part, it was one of the most intense and moving games I’ve played in recent memory, and

I played it for the first time on the Wii U Virtual Console and loved it.

I thought Krieg had by far the strongest personality of them all, but that was likely just me mentally imposing the delightful version of him from the character trailer.

As someone who plays these games despite their obnoxiousness, I thought 2 actually had some solid writing courtesy of Antony Burch (brother of Ashly, co-creator of “Hey Ash, Whatcha Playing?”). Shit, I remember seeing the comments in a recent Kotaku article full of people who hated that there even WAS a storyline.

Given that her departure probably gave her a reputation for being unreliable, a “difficult” actress, she probably didn’t have anything to lose here. Giving her side of the story may or may not make future employers reconsider hiring her, but I doubt she’s actively making things worse for herself at this point.

You underestimate the vocal core audience of these films, which essentially amount to a near-circle Venn diagram of “People who are sick of the MCU” and “monster fuckers.” The movie as a whole will hold up for them.

So weird to be old enough to remember when this was the norm, not an exception or “deal-breaker.” Weirdly, I disliked it in stuff like “Teen Titans,” but I absolutely loved it in “Trigun.”

Aw, no mention of his role on “Stargate SG-1" as the alien who stayed on Earth and helped produce the show-within-a-show “Wormhole X-Treme”? I know he had an illustrious career as a character actor, but that’s neck and neck with his role on “Sex in the City” for me.

“I’m hoping the MCU never sinks as low as the comics has with creating unnecessarily convoluted Hulks.”

A stunningly beautiful write-up of a stunningly beautiful game.
