Maybe you are, but you know what your readers want and it shows. Whether you do it consciously or not, I don't know. What I do know is that even though you say you're more journalist than gamer, there is a passion for gaming in your writing that comes out with most of your articles and that was what I was getting at.

Schreier, somehow I feel like the older writers/editors here at kotaku are getting out of touch with their community and are way more journalists than gamers.
