This is about as biased as it gets, seems like they really want Titanfall/Microsoft to fail. Is this for real or is it supposed to be just a joke? Seems like they're making fun of Titanfall in a "we want it to fail" or "we think it's dumb" kind of way. Am I misreading it?

Also sacrificing your Titan by using the nuclear blast ejection is great when you're outnumbered in close quarters in a Titan.

Yeah, I play with headphones, which can be just as startling, but doesn't disturb my wife. I really enjoy this game, but I also really enjoy Dishonored. The difference is in Dishonored, you're an assassin. Garrett is a Thief, not a fighter. It's all about stealth and escape.

I understand. It's unfortunate that the game didn't meet your expectations, but I wouldn't call it "bad bad bad." I really enjoy it, personally. I guess that's the point of opinions though, and you're just as entitled to yours as I am mine.

It's just that it's different than a lot of people's expectations, unfortunately. I saw another post from a guy who was talking about how bad the new Thief was, and he casually commented on how he didn't really enjoy the originals. Why did he think the new one would be that different?

I agree. It feels more like the original Thief games than people remember, where combat was discouraged and stealth was the best (funnest) part.

Well, I'm only in the first act. You may be right. But I was a big fan of the originals, I played all three of them. You told me the first ones weren't your thing, why did you think you'd like this one?

I feel like too many people expect it to be like Dishonored, but it's a lot more like Thief (the original). Combat isn't fun, and generally you're supposed to avoid it. The most fun is the sneaking and the stealing (the jobs). I'm enjoying it, but I was a big fan of the original game.
